@@JuntosXlaLibertadMileyBuIIrich I doubt kids would manage to finish the game or spend 30 bucks in one afternoon at the arcade. Then again people didn't finish the arcade mode of Street Fighter 2 for the story
Eh, to be fair: 1990s arcade game. Anything in which you dealt with dinosaurs was going to end with you throwing down with the King of the Dinosaurs. (Admittedly, I don't know of many T-Rexes that were tall enough to make Godzilla drop an atomic loaf on Tokyo.)
The ammonite is nearly impossible to beat without at least one speed boost. Its arm attack is just faster than your ship. The final boss can be done without boosts, but you need the patience of a Saint to achieve it. Great run as always.
It could be just me, but there's something truly terrifying about the T. Rex. Maybe it's the music Maybe it's that it existed in real life, but smaller Maybe it's that its colossal mouth full of teeth could devour the entire aircraft in one bite Maybe it's the cute innocent looking face there just to fool you Maybe it's a combination of all of them
@@jeronimogarcia5689 I know a handful of game that has a sad/bad ending... this one is maybe shown in a clunky manner but every stories shouldn't end good
@Christophe Beaudoin i like may have had a little chance at escaping with the copters they ride in during gameplay for that ending. But plot says they had to fly back in the plane

@YOXOMO 's the bosses aren't that hard, except for the stegosaurus but there are some bullshit game design choices, like after the unknown dinosaur fight two pterodactyls will spawn from the left side of the screen, and if you don't know you probably will get hit because you just ended a fight with a boss on the right side. glad to be recognized in the comment section :P
10:02 “When suddenly the game designer suffered by fatal heart attack, The dinosaurs ceased and island disappeared... The quest of the Real-Life could continued...”
Y'know, given the ending and the obvious time-fuckery involved in having dinosaurs in 1930, I'm wondering if this was meant to be a stealth-sequel (or stealth-prequel, hard to say) to SNK's earlier game, Bermuda Triangle (another shooter in which time travel was a part of the game). No dinosaurs (though plenty of other obvious anachronisms) in that one, though.
So someone took a "1943 Boeing A75N1 PT17" to go to an island to kill countless prehistoric life, knowing that they were going to be destroyed in the first place..........😩 And here I thought monsters were big with sharp teeth and claws. I guess I was wrong. Also, where is the infinite fuel source for this plane and why are the dinosaurs exploding? Did our atmosphere contain propane? Hank Hill would have a heart attack.
Not to mention that the twist at the end, where it's in the Bermuda Triangle and the reason for all the ships and planes disappearing was caused by dinosaurs, was pretty dumb. It's as if M. Night Shamylan made this game.
@@neonnwave1 Stories shouldn't be what matters the most in a game, you play them to enjoy playing... Keep in mind that this was how games in the 80's were designed
@@ikagura I aware. But we live in an age where stories have become a stable now in video games, since the technology is available to implement one. And if stories didn't matter, then why were people pissed off about the movie based off of video games, with the main complaint being the stories? Oh, and visual novels were a thing in the 80s as well (I think), and those were more story than game play. *Shrug*
El stegosaurus se ve super raro el cuerpo está bien pero por qué le pusieron esa cabeza de cocodrilo con cuerno, sin hablar del archelon que nada q ver con el verdadero archelon,
1:26 wtf?? the head can destroy the plane, I play this game many many times and whit a touch of the head and tail the plane destroy..... that suspicious.....
In contra you fight aliens and mutants which also explode. And the mechanical looking was for limitations of the time. Just compare for example the enemies in Toki (the arcade from 1989) and the ones from the remake
A better ending I made up. The main characters wake up on the main land where they crashed. Then they see all the bosses and enemies of the second game laying waste to the city to set up the sequel.
Whats weird is we got Kaiju size dinosaurs!? One that actually looks like an actual Dinosaur(Tyrannosaur) thats bigger than Godzilla if ya saw the stats while ya Allosaur got two herbivorous Dinodaurs with the exact same Ceratosaur heads and an Allosaurus with trex arms pretty strange
I was playing first old child arcade at 1996-1999. Too much hard game suicide for coins paid. Everyone for forever good games. After in PC CD NeoGeo for infinite ♾ coins also be suicide or not learning dodge (haha) I never play anymore and good watch. Good models to play Prehistoric Isle 2 🦖 💥☄️🚁
