This is Commander Alexander Ashcroft of the Liberation, giving my report. Part of me still can't believe we are here, the galaxy itself is all but fully liberated for the grap of the empire. Once Coruscant is finally taken back, we can finally put an end the the Galactic Empire, and peace can once more return to the newly reinstated Galactic Republic. Strange to think that soon I'll be done giving all these reports, and eventually stationed woth my own ship as well. But that's for after the war. The still looms one last threat. The Empire's trump card has been rebuilt, thankfully not fully though. This will be our one chance to put down the Death Star, and the Emporer himself in one go. We can not let the horror of Alderaan ever be repeated. These coming battles will likly be the most dangerous and hard fought, but the end of the war is on the other side of them. The ships crew stand ready to give their all in these final battles, Godspeed Admiral Akbar. And May the Force be with you.
Locked and loaded I see Commander Ashcroft? Well you are a fine fellow and it has been my pleasure to read your reports. Do not beat yourself any more about your previous life than you already have. You changed well before the time came to make the right decision and you are here on the side of freedom and justice when it matters most of all which is sadly too late for the Imperials waiting for us on the other side. The data brought to us by the Bothan Spies pinpoint the exact location of the Emperor's new battle station. We also know that the weapon system of this Death Star are not yet operational. With the Imperial Fleet spread throughout the galaxy in a vain effort to engage us, it is relatively unprotected. But most important of all, we've learned that the Emperor himself is personally overseeing the final stages of the construction of his Death Star. Many Bothans D**d to bring us this information... VA Du Couteau: *mutters something to N-ARC* N-ARC: It is confirmed madam. VA Du Couteau: *is standing by her Command Seat as a live holo broadcast to all in the Venator-Class* This is Vice Admiral Katarina Du Couteau. In just a few weeks, we will embark on our last expedition and possibly our final chance to remove the plague that had taken over the Heart of the Republic, the Emperor. We will group up in the Home One fleet and make our final preparation. There is a chance that the outcome will favor us, or be our demise. Regardless, I am happy that I have served with such fine crew and individuals both Alliance and the Republic. I only have one mission, and is to bring all of us back home safely. A mission I will carry to the end even if it means my own demise. You have the option to back out. I will not hold it against you. *The live broadcast echoed around the halls, rooms and corridors of the Empress having it seen by all crew members* VA Du Couteau: *ends the broadcast before going out to see...* *As Du Couteau goes out, most of her command staff and officers were there including a few crew members. They saluted her before someone she knows goes forward* RSFD Captain: On behalf of the RSFD, we will not abandon our Admiral. We will stand by and fight. Rebel Officer: As will we, We will stand by and fight. Rebel Starfighter Commander: On behalf of the Starfighter Corp, We will stand by and fight. Republic Head Engineer: We will stand by and fight Madam Admiral. VA Du Couteau: Guys...*shakes head and chuckle* Then make haste. Make sure all systems are operational and the ammunition restock.
(THIS IS the penultimate episode) Katarina, you have come a long way from just being a resistance leader on an Imperial planet to now a Rebel Admiral ready to face down their final monstrosity and end the Empire. I tell you it has been a pleasure to see your journey come to this point. As is all of people whom I serve with. I have been named Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Alliance Fleet for this operation. And in that capacity I have decided to hold you and "The Empress" back for following the first wave of attack. I know you would want to be in the first wave but against a monstrosity like a Death Star I want to keep the ships with less armor to the back as possible. Trust me it is better for you in this case. I want you to make it out of this alive. May the Force be with us ALL in this endeavor.
@Night_Stalker (Just to let you know, it's going to take maybe a week or more to bring everything together for the episode. All the editing and special recordings I need to make. But good news is I already have the Battle of Endor recorded which was the hard task. It's going to blow your mind!)
Question : will you play New Republic next season ? There are so few people playing as New Republic when ever I go, I think New Republic is being SEVERELY UNDERRATED by everyone , and I wish to see more New Republic content in the future.
We'll see. I've been at this for 5 months now and have been sacrificing my early mornings for a large percent of that time so I feel I need a break once I'm done. Besides I don't believe there's a Grand Layout Map with the New Republic. If there was then maybe I would consider. But for right now once I'm done with this season I'm taking a break.
