Premade russian volume fans - the debate, love or hate? 

The problem I have is that it seems that everyone and his dog are offering lashes now and the majority near me are using premades and people pay for it. They don’t seem to care about handmade volume, they just want massive lashes and people are getting away with it. So I’m sat here offering handmade but people would rather go to someone using cheap premades from China because they are 30/40 a set. It’s Soul destroying 🙁 lashes used to be a luxury treatment but it’s become so cheap now here in the UK that it no longer is

I think you’re wonderful! I love this video. I am unfortunately and unknowingly guilty of a couple things you talked about. But I am determined to be good at making fans by hand and being as educated as possible. It is sooo frustrating trying to make the perfect fans and making the wrong ones over and over again. Sometimes I just want to give up (but I’m not going to). Thank you for your time and knowledge.

I am a newly licensed esthetician in the USA and the demand is very high for bold thick lashes. I watch your RU-vid videos all the time there so inspiring I was wondering what you think of making your own fans before you do your client so then when it comes to doing the client on the day you’ve already made your own handmade fans? Do you think this is ok to do? Or do you think it can cause retention?
