I love the walkthrough straight into the airport. I hope you have a great stay. The views from the smoking area next to the restaurant are pretty good for landing craft.

Yea I love the Premier Inn T4 I love the rooms and there workers are really helpful and there food is great.I had a great time watching the planes and we got a really good view on the 6th floor.But I think my room was a little bit small than the other premierInn(bath road) but really good hotel though.I was quite sad when I left because it was a really good hotel and a nice surprise from my family🤩What floor where you on and what room number(my room number was 681 on floor 6)

It was a while ago, I can't remember now, I know we asked for a high floor with runway view. We're planning to stay at Luton soon too. 😁

Well I saw that you where on room 793 and you where actually on the same floor as me which was floor 6 and my room was 681 so the room that I stayed in was not that far from your room

I try and film our room number now so people know where we stayed but I didnt in some of the early videos.

Bath Road is my favourite PI, I love sitting out on the hill, watching the planes land, with a Costa 😊.

It's very good and great for plane spotting. Have you seen the PI hotel at Bath Road (check out my other video)? That is also fantastic for watching the planes coming in to land right in front of you. Next on my list is The Renaissance, which I've been told is amazing and has special rooms and facilities for spotters - unfortunately we've had to postpone our visit.

I'm glad you enjoyed the video, I hope I have given everyone a good view of what it's like. I think my favourite is Bath Road, but this would be a close second because the walkway makes it so quick to get to the airport and the views are amazing.

@@KarionTravelling I havent tried the Bath Road one - maybe I will next time. I remember walking past the T4 one as it was being built and thinking 'I'm going to stay in there one day'. I used to stay in the Jurys Inn (now Hilton Gardens) at Hatton Cross and athough it was very nice I'm a fan of the Premier Inn brand over the Hilton so I always try and use them now

@@thefreshprinceofdapto1668 we used to stay at the Gatwick Travelodge, but one year we had a really bad experience there so we tried Premier Inn the next year and we have been staying with then ever since. I love that they're all the same and the standard is high. If you like watching planes Bath Road is brilliant, and the reception area is amazing.

@@KarionTravelling You definitely know what you're getting with a Premier Inn! Maybe I've been lucky but I've never had a bad experience with one.... yet!

I usually call the hotel direct a few days before arrival and request a runway view room. They can't guarantee it, but so far we've been fairly lucky. And you can always ask again when you check in.

I usually look up the number on Google and then check the alternative on 'say no to 0870' some of thse calls can get really expensive.

I have stayed in a lot of Premier Inns, but airport ones are my favourite. Were you going on holiday?

Hi and sorry for the late reply, but I was not going on holiday, I just wanted to go there because the first time I had been there it was the best hotel I have ever experienced in my life and I wanted to go there again and I went there again but I didn’t come from another country so that’s why it wasn’t called a holiday.

There are three Premier Inns really close to Heathrow, the best one probably depends on which terminal you're flying from - however I'd highly recommend all three and they're all just minutes away from the airport.

@@KarionTravelling Weve had our holiday to florida cancellend due to covid 19 & was flying with virgin but they moved to heathrow lol. So we decided to stay with virgin & just move everything to heathrow we are closer to heaththrow to. We perfer staying at a hotel the night before just a little tradition :p.

@@annabaker12 I'm exactly the same, i love staying the night before as i know i won't need to worry about getting to the airport so i can relax and enjoy myself, and it extends the holiday a little.

@@KarionTravelling yeah i'm not sure how many floors they are extending but i just know they were extending, and a thing i'm actually going back here next year if covid calms down or goes away, like how you said how they have the quick snack bar there (at 4:51), but i've also found out it's good for grabbing a quick lunch when you don't want to go the restaurant since they serve sandwiches and wraps and another cool thing you can ask for them to heat up the sandwich or wraps, but the last thing i definitely recommend the breakfast wrap i think it was called, yeah but sorry for the late reply. 😅

I called them about a week before my stay and asked for a high room overlooking the runway. It's not guaranteed, but we've always had a great view. The free wifi is fine for small stuff like browsing social media, or you can pay for the ultimate wifi which is around £5 a day if you want to download movies or heavier usage.

Sorry I'm not sure. But you could contact the hotel direct, when we've been to PIs when Jess was young, some of the restaurants would blitz vegetables for her if we asked.

@@Billoybong2 mash up in a food processor. They would cook fresh vegetables and turn it into baby food for us. But not all of the restaurants could.

It's definately a hotel I would recommend if you're staying in London and flying from Heathrow.

Yes, that's what we do. Bath Road (close by) is another great one for plane watching as you can sit outside the hotel and watch the planes coming in to land. If you watch my PI Bath Road video you can see how close you get, and is probably better for plane watching, if that's what you are going there for 😊

It's a great hotel for plane spotting, so is Bath Road a few minutes away - but it's obviously much quieter at the moment. I believe the have a variety of twin and family rooms. I suggest giving them a ring and asking, I've always found them very helpful. 😊

If you're travelling from Heathrow I would recommend any of the 'terminal' PIs, they're all pretty close and the facilities are really good. I hope you have a safe flight.

@@KarionTravelling Thank you. Looked at the other hotels, but the restaurants looked expensive. The Breakfast meal deal looks worth it, good value.

I think they all have Thyme restaurants, the good thing about T5 is there is a MccyD next door (if you like that). The breakfasts are good value, especially if you have kids as they eat free and you can all fill up for the day ahead. 😊

Yes, there are lots of Premier Inns in central London. No, not all rooms have a fridge.

You will need to check with the airline as different companies have different requirements. The airport is about 15 minutes leisurely stroll from the hotel through the walkway. I hope you have a safe flight and a brilliant holiday. 😊

I believe this one was filmed on my Samsung S20/21 phone. I didn't want to invest in a camera until I was sure I liked being a vlogger.

@@KarionTravelling I have the same S20 phone and my footage has micro jitter and other issues. Had the cameras replaced but the issues is still there. Did you use a stabilizer with it? If so which one? My next phone will be an iphone

I think mine is set to auto stabilisation. That works OK in zoom 1, but if I try and zoom in or out, I've noticed a slight judder. It doesn't give great nighttime/dark footage either, but phone cameras are improving all the time.
