As a Blackburn fan be gutted to see him go but he deserves it. Seen many a player come and go but Sammie will always be a legend to me for what he did this season 🔵⚪️
Super Sammie smzodic, single handedly kept us up ,33 goals for a team what finished 19th is insane, how he didn’t get championship player of year is a disgrace
Love Sammy, please stay at Rovers. You will become a club legend. You are better than either Armstrong or Brereton. With Eustace next season we will go up with you.
9:40, Sam talking about new owners sacking managers for no reason, "it happens" was definitely a dig at the Venkys and there horrendous decision to sack him 🥴
As a Blackburn supporter, if he goes to a PL club, good luck to him. Nobody could begrudge him a move after what he has done for us this year but of course, I hope he stays and does the business for us again next season. All I will say is the rest of the team needs a revamp without a doubt.
What a player. Please stay and if you don't just make sure it's the right move for you and not just for the sake of the prem. You will always be a rovers legend
The comment Sam made about Moyes’e and a small section of fans is like what happened to Sam at Blackburn. Fans be careful what you wish for. No way would we have been relegated with Sam in charge
Can't lie and say think he's a bit of a knob on the pitch shushing the fans etc when he's scored but every team needs that and off it he's a class act and a top guy
Top lad Sammie, couldn't deny him a move to the Premier League, just hope we get a decent fee. Still wake up with cold sweats some nights over that effort v Luton during the penultimate season tho 😆
If we get offered good money I wouldn’t begrudge Sammie getting a Premier League move, IF, the owners let us use the Sammie and Wharton money. If they don’t, I’ll be devastated.
Never have I wished a player all the best on moving from us .. he deserves a premier league move and goes with best wishes … Venkys won’t give us any of the money to spend though
I don’t think I would have been to happy if I was one of his team mates. He might have scored loads of goals, but there are 10 more players in a team. He seem like a nice lad, but it wasn’t exactly entertaining or humorous!
@@Charlie.c19 Hi Charlie, I don’t think he particularly gave any credit, to the other 10 men the team. I think also, no one would blame him going to a Prem team, but somethings are better not said till they happen, it could cause jealousies within the team & is not particularly conducive to teamwork.
@@Rasher1974 yea I suppose the last few years were amazing, with a modern coach , alladyce knows how to set teams up against stronger ones , he knows how to get the best out of his players and he can adapt with players .
@@darrenroche9225 Never got the Kenny thing because he just didn't understand the meaning of flexibility In addition to his total lack of nous regarding international football, as for Sam he was caught out in the England job because of his lack of integrity, it's possible to integrate both modern technologies and old fashioned shut up shop methods when appropriate it's always a balance but as a coach my mantra was always win first and entertain second if you can do both fine, even Man City go long when its needed. Nice to hear from you we both want the same I'm sure, I've been a BIG supporter ( not just a follower) for over 50 years and can remember us being in the backwoods of international football for years mainly because of the amatuers running the FAI blazers who sucked the organisation dry, sorry getting carried away in the past we have had good players who performed far better for their clubs than for us why is that, lack of planning organisation and treating players to second class seats on away trips on aeroplanes I could go on that's why I would never accept someone like SAM A.
Don't be so negative, if he wants to play for the country his grandmother is from, we should be so lucky to have him! He's a quality player and a good attitude too
@@bravojohnny3199 Respectfully we absolutely don't! If we put together a team solely from the Irish league featuring solely players born in the republic of Ireland (since that would be home soil and home country of birth) we'd get nowhere, with guys like Sammie putting on the green jersey the next generation of Irish players watching him are more tolerant, more interested in soccer and they'll have the bonus of knowing that if they do go abroad, they won't be forgotten about if they decide to play for Ireland.
@@johngranahan6102 respectively as you say.. its bad mindset to calm evidence without proper examples of say failed culture.. Rugby set a prime example for national team/league to follow, albeit in a football context
@@bravojohnny3199 without respect, I didn't say respectively. I used a different word respectfully! Second rugby is a sport which has benefited massively from foreign influence and players not born in Ireland so I'm glad we agree that people not born in Ireland should absolutely be able to represent us.
