1st of April is a premiere for sea trout fishing on the west coast of Sweden around Gothenburg. Time when probably every angler that is after sea trout tries to spend at least a couple of hours with a rod on the coastline chasing for some silver! I was not an exception, so with gear in hand, I joined the others for what promised to be an amazing day. The salty breeze and the scent of the sea filled the air as I set off, eager for action. As usual, this time of the year, during spring, I was fishing in shallow water against onshore wind, looking for some bays covered with seaweed that where promising to host some sea trout. I was fishing with a lure and a teaser fly, having a combination of natural and bright color. Tugs on the line, great fights from the fish, thrashing and splashing! Fantastic morning filled with spring scent in the air!
