Thanks. Better masking (select subject/background/object) and tracking, inbuilt modern transitions and text templates especially for subtitles so you do not have to create everything from scratch, color mixer like the one in lightroom
A feature I miss that recently got removed is being able to move 1 frame at a time with the scrollwheel when hovering over the program monitor. Made masking and keyframing certain things a bit quicker for me. Would be nice to make that something I can toggle back on again!
@@Jeremiah_AguirreBro, his transitions are GREAT, what are you talking about? I am a DaVinci user who occasionally uses Pr, and his transitions work very well.
I love this feature! 1:39 Other needed features: 1. Motion blur without having to use the Transform effect 2. Stabilize a clip that has been slowed/sped up without having to nest 3. Improve the easy ease keyframing method to work more like AE. Manually easing keyframes in Premiere is a nightmare compared to AE. 4. Give more robust coloring tools, feel free to copy whatever Resolve is doing. 5. Bring back the export panel from Media Encoder, the new one is just not efficient and looks more cluttered. 6. FASTER RENDERS. Resolve renders way faster than Premiere on my RTX 4080 S/ i9 14900k. I didn't splurge on a custom PC just for it to be bottlenecked by outdated render speeds.
That's exactly the same I think. Adding 2 more: - Rotoscoping (well man, CapCut has it, add in Premiere, I'm sure that is too easy to add, and it won't affect to AE users). And 2 - More text control like characters animation, glow, etc. It's stupid that in 2024 (2025) It isn't native on Premiere Pro
Imagine one day you also can do proper color grading and heavy effects without crashing premiere. Its ridiculous but I actually started grading my footage and add effects on capcut, cause the features there for grading a waaay better and adding effects is super simple and fast.
I'm learning Premiere pro, while I have used Capcut for six months. Premiere pro seems like a nightmare because everything is just complicated (the things I can do in capcut in one click takes 1 hour in premiere pro). I don't know if I should continue learning premiere pro. What do you think?
Yeah, it would take a century worth of updates and fixes for pp to catch even 1% quality of Resolve. The only people who are still using pp are people who are either stuck in time or forced to because they work with other people who use pp.
It’ll be so helpful if we can set Time Remapping or any fx to default on all clips. It is default on Opacity and it takes up so much time to manually change every single clip!
on the topic of themes, a way to change the usual blue accent color to something else like orange would be a lifesaver. in older versions of premiere, id usually find the debug setting that enabled this and it helped SO MUCH with being able to look at my screen for longer without getting a headache but now, the option isnt there
I asked the question trying not to give the feeling of sarcasm. I believe it's a very important point to make specially for new users. Before deciding what video editing software to use. Am I willing to pay for decades instead of paying just one time? Is the software faster? I believe Adobe is in a very vulnerable position against Resolve because even if Premiere was better, it really needs to be many times better to justify the high price.
maybe, but easier to do some things with PRemiere and Photoshop (e.g. generative AI to clean up background to have clean white wall and then have that in your video)
There's a new bug: When adjusting RGB curves at Lumetri Color, you can't drag freely the bottom node anymore. The top node works just as before, but the bottom one not, and that's super annoying
My team has been seriously considering switching to Davinci because of these things: 1. Switching across different workspaces has become a nightmare especially when 4K sequences are active. 2. Toggling proxy's on or off straight up freezes Premiere. 3. The Lumetri Scopes are always glitchy showing the wrong frame until you hit play and wait a few seconds. 4. Files with a .MXF container have the wrong gama in Windows machines and also are very hard to play. We have a variety of PCs and laptops ranging from i7 12700k 64GB RAM, 3060 12GB ,and fast NVME SSDs to 16inch MacBook Pro with the M3 Pro chip and these issues are all the same.
My computer freezes every time I "exit" premiere, and if you're wondering; it doesn't happen with illustrator, photoshop etc. Maybe with after effects. Please fix it
It's a great update.. and i really hope that Adobe Add Trendy Text Presets in the premiere pro like ( Neon - Flicker - Storb - type writer ) Etc Adding Them In Effects Templates..And Making them Support Any Language 🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥❤
DaVinci still can't extend clips - they've had 2 years now. every other AI video generator extends clips now, and up to 10 seconds in length. DaVinci... nope.
@@CyberwizardProductions no one in real production doing ai based extend clips but dvr is actually adding ai features that are useful in proper productions and not gimmicky bs.
DaVinci still has a completely botched keyframing system though. For literally anything complex, or even something as simple as having keyframe easings that don't look like shit you have to fuck around in the fusion page.
Please standardise the controls of the timeline between after effects and premiere, the keyboard controls and editing work differently, it’s very frustrating
I have a question about using Motion Array templates. I can't add it to my graphics templates library. Also when I added a template from Motion Array to my timeline Adobe crashed and shut down. Can you help?
Can we get "an auto select the first layer in the essential graphics feature". It's annoying when I click on my text clip on the timeline and have to move my cursor all the way to the essential graphics panel to click on my text layer there and open it's properties. Please, Adobe!
I have some problem with audio timeline, when I put it in (Audio) A1, it's only left side that I can hear, A2 only right and finally on A3 there are no more sound. Could you help me, please? Many thanks
Great video, great updates. One question, I'm halfway through a project and kind of scared about updating with the essential graphics makeover...should I be worried or just go for it and learn the new ways?
Big issue with 25 I updated to version 25 today. When I created a sequence, I didn't check the sequence settings because I assumed the audio would be in stereo, as it was in the previous version. But it ended up creating 4 audio channels. I thought it was my mistake, so I created another sequence and set the audio to stereo, but even then, the audio was still only coming through 4 tracks. I had 9 audio tracks in my timeline, but the audio from the other tracks wasn't playing, even though the audio meter was showing activity. I tried multiple times, but even in stereo, the left and right channels were coming separately. Is this an error, or did I make a mistake? If anyone else has faced this issue, please share, and if you know a solution, let me know. Just to clarify, I had turned on all audio channels. I also tried creating an MXF file, but the audio still didn't come through.
When i have upgrade caption to graphics, and i select all of them to move one line up for example from V4 to V5 it take a lot of time and goes super slow. Also when there is to much captions the Premier goes a little bit slowly i don’t know why I didn’t have this problem with older versions.
I think the CROP effect lost its "smoothen" edge option... I raised this to their customer service and was told they dont have that in 2025 update... thats just so sad... because I use it a lot.. I hope they can put it back.. they kept referring em to use gausiian blue or edge feather but it doesnt work the same way as the one under the Crop effect...
Hey folks, I've always had a question about Premiere. How is it possible that even with a high-end computer, I still have issues when handling simple text layers or alpha animations? Is there a way to properly configure the program to make it run smoothly?
I wanna know about colour grading features in premiere . Resolve is giving tracking &grading options together can premiere do something like this without any ai updation
Hey Adobe, Please fix animation graphs in Premiere Pro. The handles are not user friendly as they are in After Effects. Also kindly fix time remapping in Premiere Pro it's also not user friendly, those keyframes are hard to play with, it's comparatively easy on After Effects.
Two things I think premiere needs to be updated : 1: Previewing effects and transitions just by hovering mouse on them (same like fcpx). 2. Fixing all time famous bugs like project damaged, crashed, export error🫨🫨. 🎉After these, I would say Premiere pro is the father of DaVinci resolve 😂
It would be so amazing to have the option to have short cut key to open the color options so you can change the color of the text super faster insated of going with the mouse each time
How about having a dropdown list for Bin views (down the bottom of the panel) instead of going to metadata display panel select the saved preset, click ok..... just you can have it in 1 click like AVID. sooooooo simple to do.
or yeah please solve the issue with subtitle whenver i opened my old project file some chracters from subtitle got un capitilize randomlty and i need to change the font to solve that.
When adding two layers of subtitles, the system experiences significant lag, causing the timeline to become unresponsive and stuck. Additionally, when applying a custom preset created using the transform effect multiple times, the second application results in an excessively fast wiggle effect, which is undesirable and impacts the overall quality. Could you please provide guidance or solutions to optimize performance and resolve these issues?and solve this. and add preview of mogrt file quickly. if you think that i have low pc that,s why i,m facing this issue so I have ryzen 5600 and rtx 3070 with 32gb ram of ddr4 of 3200 mhz.
Please please please please please, make it easier to export different aspect ratio's from 16:9 without having to nest the sequences, then change timeline settings. So many people have to export Square, Vertical, and 16x9 now, so if there was a way to export these aspect ratio's directly from a 16x9 timeline (by simply giving an option to crop in on the frame) rather than having it automatically try and fit the whole frame in would be amazing. If anyone knows a better workaround for larger timelines, with effects / text that's not nesting, I'd love to hear!!
Can we get like some other ai features like in cupcut like animated word text, make a person white teeths, remove zit and other things on a face, the generative video fill, cool transitions not only for videos but also for png and others and maybe the possibility to make smooth animation with curve like on after effects
More transitions pls It's freaking ridiculous how every other video editing tool has at least 2 times more than the big mighty Premiere. I mean it's so freaking expensive .. why the hell do I have top pay for extra transitions or waste a lot of time by creating everything by myself??
You can, but I wouldn't do that if I was you. Especially if you're using extensions/plugins. With big updates like this one (going from 24 to 25), some extensions don't work anymore (until you update them). So I would just finish your project in 24 and then install 25. If you want, you can have both version installed simultaneously . :)
I never know why it has to be competition! Edit in what you feel most comfortable in and has what you need, and that one wins! (though this is a pretty good update)
I really hate the the exported video doesnt look like it does in the program monitor. Even using the QT Correction LUT. I use a mac and it looks so bad compared to the way in looks in premiere before exporting. It drives me crazy that it does that. I've looked for a fix but i've never found one.
on lumetri color tab , go to setting -- display color check display color management after this still on lumetri color tab (setting) go to projec change viewer gamma to quick time tthen you can export the video without qt correction LUT
Thank you for the update! The only time I will ever enjoy Premeir Pro is IF THEY CAN RECREATE THE LUMITRI COLOR PANNEL can we have a better look of it and color wheels like in Final cut or DR..The lumitri tab is like it's neglected or something
? It has colour wheels - Lumetri has the full 'gamut' of controls already. Are you missing controls in the 'effects control' panel? Or - alternatively in the 'colour workspace'? They are all there?
