There's a cool history behind the Iacobi's J8A. Ian Iacobi was part of the Swedish Voluntary Flying Regiment that fought on the Finnish side in the Winter War and was in charge of the air defence of the Northern Finland. 2nd Lieutenant Iacobi shot down a Soviet I-15 in Finnish Lapland in January 1940. That made him the first ever Swede to score an aerial victory.

@@Darelumga China’s basically 2 half nations in a trenchcoat right now. We should really have MM work by flag rather than Tree: there’s no rational reason to have a Taiwanese F-5A and a CCP J-7 in the same lineup and on the same team.
@@Darelumga yes, that's sure, but they could put some mass-produced vehicles that was really used by those nations, for example gaijin could've put the 2 ebrs they added INSIDE the tech tree, but they're too lazy to feed a NATO nation, since they're russian
To answer the question about G.55S in Naval : absolutely worthless for torpedo bombing. The german air-dropped torpedoes have a very low launch speed and fairly low explosive power, meaning you have to dump a lot of speed while in range of enemy AA and won't even do much to larger ships. On top of that, torpedoing is much less efficient than high alt bombing in naval.
As for MM.406 : a completely overpowered aircraft. What it doesn't outturn it completely outpowers, and the armament is much more lethal than on the french MS.406.
Ki-45 HEI/TEI is a monster bomber interceptor in SIM mode. It's super easy, extremely fast for bombers and 20mm musik cannons shred smaller bombers in 15 shots.

the duck can turn alright but its engines arent strong enough to sustain it in a longer dogfight. most of the plane on plane kills youll get in it are people dim enough to headon you
i really like the more serious tone of these vids, dont get me wrong. i like the regular goofy stuff too. its just nice to see another side every once and a while.
The French yak-3 is a absolut buy for me. Just got it on sale for 800 ge and man is it a beast... I probably say so because I'm stunningly good in yaks
The interesting thing about the Finnish Mörkö-Morane is that the Klimov M-105 engines that they used were scavenged from captured Soviet Yak-1 and LaGG-3 fighters. The Morane-Saulnier MS 406 was quite underpowered, since the Hispano-Suiza 12Y engine it had could only manage about 850 hp, but the M-105 could put out about 1,100 hp, which really transformed the Morane into an excellent fighter. Why could the M-105 fit into the Morane at all? Because the M-105 is, for all intents and purposes, a massively upgraded Hispano-Suiza 12Y engine. The Soviets imported these engines from France and licence-built them as the Klimov M-100 engine (used in the SB 2M-100 bomber), which was then upgraded into the M-103 (used on the SB 2M-103), and finally into the prolific M-105 used on many Soviet warplanes (the Yaks, the LaGG-3, and the Pe-2 all used it).
The 55s was the plane I used to single handedly grind the entire Italian aviation tree up to the jets, at which point I dropped a talisman on the g14 and re2005

Man I’ll be honest I grabbed the Hawk lll during the 50% sale with the lowest expectations; I just liked it having bombs and retractable gear at such a low br. Very first game I destroyed 2 bases and killed 6 players, and landed right as the “enemy lost all its vehicles” popped up; for the gg. It was by far the best match I’ve had in my very short 99 day tenure(as of today’s login) In WT.. so if you’re new and want a fun low br plane; I would personally recommend the Hawk lll. ive had the S.O.8000 since it came out and honestly its my second favorite plane to fly in the game (behind the HS-129 B-3). Im suprised you didnt mention another semi unique thing about it. The fact that it doesnt have ailerons. It uses small airbrakes on the wings that do the job or rolling the aircraft. But no ailerons whatsoever
In my opinion the MöRKö-MORANE is way underrated. You guys say it's a buy, I say its a must have. It absolutely destroys. If you take it into ground rb to dogfight you'll also often get confused for an La5 which will allow you to throw them off pretty significantly getting you the kill. Buy it. You won't regret it.
Ok I have told my friend that Spitfires are super easy to fly and play, and I fought him in the same spitfire expect he had the British and I had the Italian. And I did about as good as he did even though he had flown it much more then I did. And I did really well for my first time with it. I would say if you need to get through the Italian tech tree get the Italian spitfire!! Worth it!!
hard to use tho in my experience. i cant ever get a kill but at least i average like 3-5 assists per game. with if im lucky the occasional fire or pilot snipe
Used the narval as my french tree grinder for a while. Honestly prefer using the bombs on it in air rb and going into a dive to gain up speed, bomb a base, and then use that speed to get into the fight. Honestly worked better for me than going straight into a fight or going for interception off the bat.
I would say the J29d is a bit for sure. Having flown it a ton. Those guns are just devastating in air battles. And you can maneuver with all but a couple of the jets you see
My go-to Swedish aircraft for grinding rank IV and V in Air AB has been the Saab T18B-1. Slap a 1400 GE talisman on the thing, and make it even more absurd than it already is. 148 spawns, only been shot down 79 times, but have shot down 135 enemy fighters. There's always somebody who thinks it's a good idea to stall climb right under you :-P
I got the c.r.42 for free when Italian planes came out and its great. The firepower isnt that great but .50 cals still do good damage because they are still higher caliber than what most biplanes get
I could be wrong but I think the tail layout of the Pyörremyrsky is heavily inspired by Italian design. It looks quite similar for example to the tail of a Reggiane 2k series and I believe they operated a number of those as well.

I got the iaf vauture for the sale (35$), and I was having problems with SL. I planed to wait for a sale and then buy the yak 3, but I finished reserching the hole rank 4, and needed about 1,000,000 SL to start researching rank 5. If you are having problems with SL, this is a strong buy.

Confirming "Pyörremyrsky" = Whirlwind... and it does exist in Tikkakoski airmuseum. Also Mörkö is more "Boogey" as in "boogeyman" rather than "ghost" (which would be "Aave" or "Haamu").
Being a fairly broken person RL; I don't do fighters much since I become the fat slow gazelle. Where I do decently at is with attackers. Would I be asking too much for a video about attack planes and bombers? Thanks for the great videos.
