I can't believe these seat covers. I was all for leather chairs but these are perfect. It's a bit of an insult to call them seat covers, more like easy fit seat re-upholstery. Love them.
Thanks so much for video - just fitted our premium leather seat covers from same shop. Without your video, we couldnt have managed the 3.5 hours it took us! So pleased with the finished product, though, thanks again.
Great vid again folks. Shows just how much fun it can be and for the few in a void the proper covers are well made and when you have a new van and a pet who travels the least you can do is protect your investment.
Hi guys love the new seat covers looks good strong quality covers a least u can protect the sests looks like a good work out as well a least now people who watch your channel will have a idea on how to fit them cover now well done guys all the best.kev
Really enjoyed watching this, thank you for your efforts. Totally different level to your former covers and cost as well, but they now look like OEM seats. You must be chuffed!
Terrific video folks! Having spent ages looking at these covers on-line and wondering if I could justify circa £400 on them, you have tipped the balance in favour. Happy campervaning :-)
OMG! We are so upset! Your last video was true! You have parted ways with Bentley! No sign of him helping you in this video, now we need to sob in to our coffee and bacon butties!!!!! Another enjoyable video, I can't do stuff when I'm hangry. Wonder if Bentley will do a video of him putting a new cover on his bed.
Great video, the covers look great and look a bit like the seats in our VW Up! and the new UP! GTI. They don't look like covers. Think I would have used a set of Trim removal tools though on that trim.
Good question... I don’t know anything about ISOFIX I’m afraid so not sure what I’m looking for. The top bit is separate from the bottom bit so I imagine you can still access the ISOFIX brackets but not sure 100%
Another awesome video...we’ll have to look to see if any VW T4 seat covers available, could do with the GTi logo...may make our bus quicker 🤣. What does Bentley think of them?
Just a heads up guys you can buy what they call trim tools on eBay for around a fiver made of plastic and different shapes for taking plastic trim of and tucking bits in
Hi, I'm in the middle of installing my GTI seat covers. Your video is very helpful. One front seat done! How easily do they stain, and how easy to clean? Have you used something like Scotchguard for protection?
Warning to anyone else doing this! I just sheared off a screw when refitting an arm rest. I assumed it would be ok because, as Sean showed they are very tight to start with. So, now I'll have to look at getting a replacement screw and find a way to remove the stub of screw that's left in!
These look incredible! I couldn't find this version in their shop. Any idea if they're willing to sell the fronts separately for us mere mortals with self-converted T6's? =D
It was midnight and I was too impatient to find out =P Will get in touch with them shortly. And thanks for the model name. Killer videos btw, I think I've watched them all now 😂
Cant believe I've just spent 25 minutes watching someone put covers on their seats! What a way to spend the evening. Still, it was interesting, but sadly no Bentley.
One thing I don't quite get. I would expect a key reason for having seat covers is that they should be easily removable, either for washing, or that you would put them on for 'dirty' activities, such as camping, and remove otherwise. Clearly, that's not a realistic approach for these ones. That's a disappointment for me. Your Lidl ones are perhaps better suited for on/off use. Thanks, very useful video all the same. (PS. I have an old T25 Westfalia California, but just about to sign for a T6 Ocean).
Fair play to your lidl covers kept your seats clean for 12 month for €15 let’s see how Long the 400 pound ones Last great work I’m really tired Now after watching you
To those who ask: why do you need seat covers? I've had a new Ocean for 6 months, with the standard seats. They are pale in colour and take up stains frustratingly easily. They even show a stain where I spilled some clean water on them! I've sprayed them thoroughly with Scotch Guard, but seems to make no difference. This is a real disappointment from VW. Why provide such pale seat fabric as standard? I previously owned a Passat with dark seats, which would be much more practical. Hence, I have just bourhg this GTI set.
How are these holding up? We've just fitted the waterproof seat covers to our Cali for now but I think these would be a much better long term solution for us. Obviously you haven't used them much in the last 12 months but, just curious as to whether they're showing their age yet? Cheers
I've just received a set, yet to put on. After 9 months can you give any comment on how they've stood up to use? Any wear and tear, or anything like beading?
Well I gathered that. I thought VW seats were indestructible & you can velet them yourself or have it done professionally. I understand that products reviews can be interesting, but 25 minutes. Don't get me wrong, like your vids & I've watched your recent feature film👍so I want you to be positive about my comment.😁
