Do tournaments ever take place on MTGO or is it just a practice tool? I’ve been considering picking my list up on there but don’t want to waste tix if there’s no events. This deck was pretty slick! Thanks for posting

Yes, there are some (though I haven't played in them yet) I would reccomend joining the Premodern Discord, there is a MTGO section, and another where people post tournament info. The Mythic Society has hosting tournaments 2x a week (though I believe they are switching to a monthly league structure) There are some other posts about small tournaments as well. Well, this matchup seems absolutely horrendous for the WW player. They generally can't put any real pressure on and they're horribly outmatched on mana. Elves isn't fighting fair with Cradles+Crop Rotations to find them. What is the WW player supposed to do? Swords a Llanowar Elf? That might actually be correct. You can't beat Masticore+a million mana. If you save your Swords for the Masticore, its too late.Maybe if they have Crusade effects. Only way the WW player should win is if Elves get a horrible draw-like all Forests, Poachers, Masticores and Hermits, and can't start casting stuff till turn 4.

Agree the matchup is bad for WW, but that is a big downside on playing a fair deck like WW is sometimes your opponent will be doing much more powerful things
