Carl92 will probably hang it up above his fireplace to remind him how he convinced the internet to find a song from a porno while he was playing with his Mr. Bean.
This sounds soooooo much better than the teaser! Listening to it makes me feel so passionate. 🔥 For real it's way too good 🥹 Its almost like the two of you are angels! Thank you Chris and Phillip 🤩
@@christophersaintmusic That snippet of the remake sounds amazing, here's hoping the entire thing sounds just as good, and that the entire album sounds great.
@@christophersaintmusic I deeply want to hear Animal in Me remastered. It has an outro section that is completely talked over and fades out early in Taboo when it played during its scene. I would hope if the OG Audio of animal is in those casette tapes you guys found, that the outro could be heard fully.
you guys are genuinely awesome for this its a shame people are so butthurt over the vocals not being the same, but that was the 80s, you guys are older now what did they expect?
I do hope the original vocals pop up one day, but my god you did an amazing job re-doing them considering you haven't sung in god knows how long, so I definitely won't be too disappointed at all if they never show up now that we have these redone ones. And besides, the rest of the album is jam-packed with original vocals, so this certainly isn't a big loss at all. I also really like how the new guitar sounds; it compliments the new vocals very well & honestly makes me not miss the original vocals so much. I really cannot thank you & Phil enough, Chris, you guys really are the best & we couldn't have struck gold harder by having you two be the artists behind Ulterior Motives.
YES!!!!! Awesome teaser, I'm so excited for this album... The high quality photos look great too and the music sounds fantastic, well done to both of you 👍
I am so buying this CD. This music sounds amazing. Such 80s vibes. Thank you Christopher and Philip so much for your hard work and dedication to this project. I cannot wait to get this CD.
don’t think so. they would have used the tracks given by Christopher under his name, but they certainly wouldn’t have the original tapes, as it needs to go back to the creator. and as you hear, only the rhythm tracks were found.
Not worth it. Just turn on LinnDrum plugin (or real one if you're 80's hardware conosseur) and play this beat. Drums are basically all that left from this song (if I didn't miss the news that they found a mix record).
I ordered the physical edition and I can't wait! This sounds amazing so far. I especially love the bassline in this song. Simple, but super catchy. I'm assuming Phil played it on the original recording?
Preorder? Where? Where? Now onto the quest to remake the iconic boombox. All I know is the company behind the Nextplay Glitz ans Glitter boombox is Starlite International. I tried to inquire about it but ran into a dead end. I also lost the ebay auctions as well. Wish I could get some help on getting a nice 2024 remake of that boombox. Edit: If anyone is willing to help, please send me a message. I just thought since we got the song, we should get the boombox that goes with. Let's make this a thing.
Since you're so invested: Do you know why one of the most popular versions of EKT on RU-vid (I think now deleted) said the image of the boombox was AI generated? I thought it wasn't actually a real item until people started using it.
Hey Chris Booth, since I heard this was releasing, I decided to take down both my EKT restoration and my EKT cover and listen to the full released thing, cause I decided it would not be fair if I still had the restoration of the unreleased version of your song still up. Also, what about that other song in Angels of Passion that played in the same scene as EKT? Is that going to release sometime soon? Edit: nvm the other song is released and it's called chemistry
@wheedler yea, except I didn't see any link in their desc and so I just had to look it up to buy the CD. Oh well, either it was a YT putting a stop to said links being put on the comments as afterall that could be spamming. Or the artists may just want us to look it up ourselves.
