@@picvic7 hey so the first two days of starting the treatment i did had little side effects of dizziness but othet than that ive had no problem at all.
@@rikikno1361 thanks for responding. I felt like I had crazy vivid, morbid dreams. Then my ankles and feet were hurting but not too sure if it’s just my lifestyle and work kicking in. (Descovy)
@@picvic7 the first week you will feel weird but it should fade away its just your body reacting to the treatment but itll get used to it soon youll see
Here in Canada (my home Province is Alberta) regardless if you have coverage or not our government covers the cost of PrEP for everyone who is considered in a high risk group regards economic status.
Moving to the 🇺🇸 with my US Husband, I would love a video dedicated to managing your health and medications in reguards to health insurance. Everything in Australia is free, and it’s really hard to find information in the US
@@RaifDerrazi You are amazing!! of course here in Las Vegas we have so many barriers, but i will never let them stop me from helping people get into care! :)
Aw, I’m so bummed out. I HATE our medical insurance situation. I bust my ass working so that I can get medical insurance through my company (which costs them almost $500/month!!! And I don’t even go to the doctor more than 2 times per year! K, rant over about that)...but that also means that I don’t qualify for a lot of free stuff like this. It’s really infuriating that I don’t qualify because I work hard...and yes, I get that some of them aren’t able to work, but I like to think that people get that I’m talking about the many able-bodied people who aren’t working simply because they’re lazy. This is one of the many reasons I’d love universal healthcare. Anyways, Raif, thank you for sharing the info and I hope that those who genuinely can’t work and don’t have insurance can benefit from this program. I’m still gonna see a doctor and go through the steps to get on PreP...I’m just not looking forward to adding another sizable expense, ‘cause life in Hawai’i is already expensive enough. 😓
Raif Derrazi Nope, not yet. I have a lot of stuff going on right now and my friend is undetectable anyway. But I did make an appointment for April 3rd for a consultation on PreP...I figured I should make an appointment or I would keep putting it off. I’ll let you know how things go.
Thank you for explaining those Facebook adds against PreP. It’s insane. My entire feed seemed flooded with them. I went ahead and spammed and reported them all. Just added unnecessary fear. Prob won’t do any good to report them, but it had to stop.
Can you please tell us more about PEP? I’d like to know how we can get kidney or liver damage and bone density loss. Thank you so much for all the information you shared.
why is it so hard to get prep. the problem is trying to get an appointment and i can never get in. i mean ive only been looking for a few weeks now but its overwhelming.i have to go to specific centers it looks like to get prescribed, not my family doctor? and theres only a few locations here for at least 50 mile radius.
Does anyone know if either drug is better for your kidneys or not? I have controlled liver issues and I have kidney issues and I’m worried about getting on a PrEP because my urologist isn’t sure about what led to put me on...I’m using condoms are prevention right now but I want to get on PrEP Incase a condom breaks or someone I sleep with is dishonest about their status...
Do you still drink alcohol or party sometimes? i want to ask you as an idividiual that living with hiv, because if my results comebacks positive, i don't know if i can drink or party again :((
Presumably if you have insurance you can get PrEP through your insurance...the program helps those who don't have insurance for the medication. it most certainly DOES HELP the most in need
