For the ten trades of pokemon caught at least 300 km apart, if you're getting 7km eggs from friends far away and then trade the hatched pokes with someone local, you get the distance credit.
Tip for Level 48: Gift Chaining When your buddy finds a gift, instead of opening it, back out of and swap to a different Ultra or Best Buddy and it should also bring you a gift. You can keep swapping through buddies and stockpile gifts this way in preparation for 48.
Hi! I’m now level 48. Started playing a year ago, so I didn’t have any saved up xp. For people in my situation don’t sweat it, by the time you earn the XP you have plenty of time to finish the other tasks. Good luck!
If you're leveling from 42 to 43 and doing the 200 super effective moves. One of the best ways to do it is battle Blanche in the Master League with 2 Raikou and 1 Garchomp. Charge up your super effective moves and use them when they come but do not get a nice, great, or an excellent. You'll be able get 12-14 charge moves in. I powered though it super fast. I spent all day looking for raids and having gyms glitch on me.
I just got to level 43. This is where level exclusive challenges starts. Since it's GBL based with tasks. It's easy but platinum medals are kinda hard.
If you have any friends or an alt account you can battle against it and the wins will count there they all don't have to be gbl if you don't want them to be~
@@FLWVideosYT I completed Ultra League 30 wins because that was current league then. And now it's master league I'm halfway through. And then I'll battle with friend for great league. And Ta-da completed 😂
With the long distance trades, if people don’t want to use remote raid passes to do international raids, they can just open gifts from international friends and hatch the 7k eggs- then trade those Pokémon to a local player
I watched this even though I am level 49 currently! To get the excellent throws quickly, circle setting on raid bosses is making that step go by very quick for me currently! The one thing you said that I believe is incorrect, but I would accept being wrong upon proof, is if you power pokemon up to level 50 before hitting the level where you need three maxed pokemon, it should still count! I got to Tha level before having enough xl candy to max out a single pokemon, but you should be able to do that task in advance! Also, to complete that task quickly: meltan boxes!
For the medals of each type, it also count towards it trading pokemon of any type, it helped a lot to get close to platinum in the dragon one during gible cd and the event where dratini and bagon spawn frequently
Also alolan executor is a dragon. Catch all of them when they're out. Realized this and am trying to mirror trade and catch all dragons as it's my last one to to platinum toward 35 needed.
@@raitchison Well done. I guarantee mine will take more than a month. I'm in no rush, though. There isn't anything right now that I could do at 45 that I can't do at 44.
@@85BearsDv Negative. Once you earn or have one, you can't build more. You can only stack them by using coins and buying more, or doing certain special research that rewards them. Besides. I'm already lv.44, so I need them now.
I wrote this for my community a while back in before they made a few changes and before we knew what came after level 47 so some of this might be a little bit outdated but I just copy and pasted anyways. For those who already have the xp needed to level up Lvl 41 line up a legend you have the resources for that you want to power up. Or pick multiple you have candy for and spend on low level power ups across multiple. Luckies are helpful. Lvl 41 start saving 200 berries Lvl 41 line up 15 stone evos that you already have resources for (name them lvl42 and I recommend keeping this naming trend for the level you need them for) Lvl 41 raid at your own pace Lvl 41 save 15 eevee and walk two 10k Lvl 42 grassy/ice lure, 2 10k eevee, Kanto random. Recommend 15 eevee - you should have these ready Lvl 42 do stone evolves - you should have these ready Lvl 42 get your bag space back and use the berries Lvl 42 start saving 1k dust shadows to purify at level 45 (this can really save dust later) Lvl 42 BIG BIG NOTE TO SAVE MASSIVE TIME IN THE 200 CHARGE MOVES REQUIREMENT AT THE BOTTOM - LONG EXPLANATION SIMPLE SOLUTION. Lvl 43 just focus on getting those 5 platinum medals. The rest all start when you hit the level. Lvl 44 pretty sure these battle requirements are not lifetime meaning you'll start them when you hit the level. You can prepare by finding someone and agreeing to do these battle requirements twice. You each win half and go in with 10cp Mons the other half. Still faster than real battles.... Or do it with your alt once. Lvl 45 time to look for rockets. Hopefully you've saved up lots of 1k dust shadows to purify. If not, you'll face another 100 shadows this level. Lvl 45 more platinum needed. You may be here already, maybe not. Good luck Lvl 46 all of these requirements start when you hit the level. Minimum of 7 days Lvl 47 You need 20 platinum medals, this includes the types caught medals so not too hard. Maxing out 3 mons could prove to be a real challenge because maxed now is lvl 50. I recommend powering up 3 mons to level 49.5 and waiting to max until at this level. Here is the BIG NOTE mentioned for level 42 to progress to 43. And I just confirmed the pvp idea I had. So it takes some time but is easily the fastest way to get those charge moves. I'm using a very low cp shiny heatmor with lick and power up punch. Lick is ghost and not very effective against blissey so as it powers up, it still does negligible damage. I don't try to hit the bubbles when I use power up punch so it does the least amount of damage possible. Turns out you can time out of the PVP match and still get credit for every super effective charge move. The matches last four and a half minutes and all I have to do is tap the charge move on Heatmor. Blissey survives the entire time no joke. In 4 and 1/2 minutes I am averaging 16 to 17 charge moves. It times out I do a rematch and knock out another 16 or 17. I hit Level 50 myself on Kanto day back in February. Knocked out all 1000 excellent throws in about 7 hours
ive been on lvl 42 for quite some time, since yveltal and galarian zigzagoon was in raids. i now have 19.1M/7.5M needed. I've been holding of on the eeevees because I wanted them to get their legacy moves and its even better that its a comday. i think its make more sense for me just to power up my pidgey to lvl 50 instead of keeping it 49.5 because once pidgeot gets unbanned it'll be higher cp than 49.5. lvl 47 is a very long way ahead
On level 48 tasks you can swap your buddy 20 times, so if you don't have poffins, then feed your buddy/take a picture/play with buddy/battle 3 times then Swap-Repeat =120 hearts in one day
Totally get the advice and it’s great advice. My question is why would one want to rush this in 3 days? Aren’t you stuck at 48 for at least 8 weeks anyways?
@@beebobber546 Some may want a bit of fast gratification. And while not doing 20 different pokemon, this is something I have seen recommended in various ways to be done with multiple pokemon every day to build up a lot of best buddies faster.
I actually made a Tag for pokemon needed to level up. I had 20 eevees just in case I kept getting Vaporeaon over and over again lol. I prepped the day all the tasks became available. Made leveling extremely easy when you leveled up. I think I jumped up 2 levels in one day since I prepped so much lol. Also, when you trade a pokemon it will count towards your medal. mirror trade a gible and you will gain a dragon towards the medal.
Tips for maxing out pokemon to lv 50: 1. Start harvesting now! Even if you're not level 40 catching some common pokemon can help get closer when you convert normal candies to get the last couple xl candies 2. Pick pokemon that makes sense. Pokemon that are common, have an upcoming community day, or will be a featured Pokemon in an event. I chose Beedrill since weedless are common and it only takes 1km walking to gain candies. Talonflame was another since it had CD it's useful in ultra league maxed out and again only 1km walking. Jigglypuff was my third because I got enough during an event were it was common and I needed fairy to complete my badge. 3. Trade: Either trade to get a lucky pokemon so that it cost less stardust to power up or if your friend has some xl candies, he/she can get you part of the way there before trading it to you
I saw some of the players grinding the lucky trades by asking friends who played for a bit back in 2016 but then quit to reopen their accounts to trade old Pokémon with them
Tip for the level pokemon 50 task. Meltan box is a super easy way to get XL candy. Doesn't help with the stardust, but at least worth doing for one since it has PVP value.
I love the catch 200 Pokémon quest because it shows me whether I got the catch or not when using the fast catch technique Wouldn’t want to complete this one and lose they helpful message. I got up to 199 and backed off one day.
Thank you for clarifying the power pokemon to 50 for me. I wasn't sure if you had to do it during the leveling up, or if pokemon that were already there counted. Also it cost me around 130k for the purify shadows as I started saving 1k shadows long before I got to that stage. Currently working on rocket leaders and the xp for level 45.
I'm in the same boat as you mate, sitting at 35/50 Rocket Leader battles done. In that time I've gotten, so far, 13.5mil XP. I did have a lot of 1k dust shadows to purify saved up though, thankfully.
I think we can easily hit the picknicker medal to platinum if lure is put in any area where many people would like to go during community day, put on lucky eggs while doing friendship bonuses at least 2 lucky eggs if free to play player.
A lot of players get stuck on the platinum medals. I’m 45 right now and grinded a bunch of simple ones recently so that doesn’t hold me back later. Get familiar with them and grind them out in advance. Oh, and trading counts toward your type medals. I saved a bunch of Gibles to trade to friends and help them out with dragon tamer.
For powering up 3 pokemon to their max cp, the easiest way is to keep doing meltan boxes. Each one nets you a few XL candy, so you should have enough to get 3 lvl 50 melmetal within about 4-5 boxes.
So getting 50 lucky trades is the easiest of all .......do 100 random trades each day......it will atleast on an average gives 2-3 lucky trades for the day
Another detail about evolution items. You can also get them as a reward for the first training battle of the day with any of the team leaders, as well as the first 3 battles with a friend in the day
For Level 47, on powering a pokemon to max level. 1) Power up a lucky pokemon to save stardust. Expect to save 200K+ on stardut. 2) Try to get a lucky meltan (possibly 3 with high cp). I just don't have the enough XL candy on Legendaries to max 1 out, much less 3. Using the meltan box is a good way to get/grind XL candies.
For the catching medals trades and evolves both count towards the medal. So if you kept all those gible you caught you can trade them and it will count towards the dragon medal.
I wouldn't worry too much about making the tasks easier unless you've already got multiple millions of xp points. It's gonna take so long to get the xp that getting the tasks done quickly won't matter.
I am at level 43 now going to level 44. I am free to play. I just going with the flow without caring too much to level up. Base on my estimate, it will take me more than 10 years to reach level 50. Anyway..i enjoy the journey and dont put any unnecessary pressure on to myself..it is just a game.
Thank you so much for this. These tips were helpful. At the moment I am trying to get through "Evolve Eevee into each of the unique evolutions" , and Eevee Community Day will most likely help. So far I have walked and evolved Umbreon and Espeon.
And here I am stuck at level 40 needing 5 million XP for Level 41 and haven't done catch 200 Pokemon in a day task yet, but thanks for this video. I feel like no need to rush to level 50 to be honest, just play for fun and catch Pokemon and do raids with friends is my aim for this game.
Great tip for the "10 trades fron 300m apart" add someone from another country, open their gitf and hatch the egg, that pokemon will apear to be from that part of the globe where the gift was sent from.
I've been on levle 38 for what seems like forever. So I'm not in a hurry to reach these levels. I will ask this though, I'm guessing nothing you've done previously will count for any of these tasks? Like getting lucky trades, or best friends, you'll have to make all of those "over again" when that task is reached?
I'm a million points away from level 41. I'm happy to say I've never used any of the names for Eevee. With the Eevee community weekend coming up those requirements are going to be a piece of cake
100% F2P TL50 (June 30), here. Everything that references *Legendary* Pokemon applies to the Mythical Meltan/Melmetal. Easiest to power up was Melmetal, assuming you installed Pokemon Home app and sent Pokemon to it to unlock the Mystery Box. You see, you get guaranteed XL candy from every Meltan you catch, and it piles up quick; I stopped opening them up b/c I already have 2500 Meltan XL candy. The requirement to max power up three Pokemon in L47 applies to anything you powered up before hitting L47. FWIW, I have 14 Pokemon maxed out already, of which 13 had 100% IVs. Goals. Favorite maxed out L50 Pokemon: Alolan Muk w/ Dark Pulse and Acid Spray, and Garchomp with Outrage and Sand Tomb. I use them in many of my shadow battle lineups because Acid Spray and Sand Tomb debuff opponents' defense. I don't have any Legendary that is powered up to L50; F2P means it's really difficult to hit that many raids, so I don't. Hardest part of leveling up to L50 is obvious: XP. I got really good at throwing excellent curve balls, and piled them up while running eggs and incense during 2x, 3x, and 4x catch XP events. If you don't even want to try that, there's always "pidgey spamming", but with whatever species you have the most candies to evo with, with an egg on. Done efficiently, you can get 80-100K XP in an hour. Every time you hatch a long-distance egg, tag it, "D+", which makes it extremely easy to track how many you have and pull up when you're trading.
I already powered up three lucky melmetal to 50 easy with xl candy and i still have 1000 xl candy left, super easy power up, especially if lucky it's half dust and the xl candies are eeeeasy The other ones aside from platinum badges don't require much thought, the badges honestly don't require much thought themselves until you're at that level then doing battle league or something I guess and rounding out a few I always save shadow zubats etc for easy purify quest and medal anyway, so I'll just continue to save them for the purify quest on level up too
Level 44 was by far the hardest grind to level up. Level 47 was just so slow, boring and drawn out because it’s a minimum 2 month wait but it gives players time to get their platinum medals for the next task. Level 49 was a breeze and only takes a day or two to complete
I'm stuck on trades for the lvl 48 to 49 challenge, since no one wants to meet up with me for the trades. I also need 5 more platinum medals & another 19 million in XP
Niantic posted that there is a bug in the game and the walking requirements already shows completed. Niantic stated this will be fixed after community day.
I'm sure you know this, but the 2 free raid passes a day are only available in New Zealand and United States at this time. Viewers from other countries may not know what you're talking about.
i'm working on level 47, and i just don't get that 1500cp raid thing done. i tried it with another person doing the raid and me joining with the 1500 team, but that did not work at all. and i haven't find a way to solo any 3* with a 1500 team yet. but that is my lack of knowledge on whats effective and what isn't. it would be really helpful if you were to do a video demonstrating how that is actually done....
I’m stuck on that Deafeat team go rocket leader 50 time, I’m on 26 right now, I though this task was so hard, I don’t have time to grind, I don’t think I can get pass this, it’s so hard, it make me wanna quit the game
For "10 trades with Pokemon caught at least 300 km apart," if you receive a 7km egg from a friend overseas you can hatch it and save that pokemon. The pokemon's location will register as the original location the gift came from.
the 25km for 8 weeks is going to screw me... i either get to 19 or adventure sync stops counting at 24.8 before 9am on a monday isn't there also specal research at levels 43 45 and 48 as well? I'm on the xp grind to hit 43 - everything else is done, i'm halfway there. meltan boxes also count toward catching legendary tasks
How do you farm XP is what i wanna know, Im playing really hard now and then but I never gain enough xp to go on to the next level... a video about that would be amazing! thank you for great content always!
