35 weeks with my second girl and it’s so nice not having to do half the stuff with your second that you have to do for your first. Literally just bought a new car seat, some newborn diapers and another baby monitor and I’m basically done. 😅

So excited for baby boy to come! I just had my baby girl a month ago and watch out for back labor! I had all back labor and didn’t know it was labor till I was ready to push and I was still at HOME! I got to the hospital right on time to push I was in triage for like 10 minutes before getting wheeled on back to deliver no time for the epidural or even to get my wristband on it happened so fast the back pain started off very mild and just intensified for 2 days I didn’t have regular abdominal contractions so I didn’t know what was going on my fiancé put the 2 and 2 together and asked if I’ve been timing the pain in my back and that’s when I realized it was it and if it wasn’t for him she would’ve been born at home she came at 40 weeks and 4 days ❤

OMG I had the SAME hello world sign for my bub. I thought the wording is so cute. ALSO post partum pro tip because people say the ice pads don't work. Run a small stream of water over it once you've "cracked" it. It makes it feel even colder for much longer otherwise. I also used the lansinoh lidocaine spray along with all the other stuff it actually numbs you. And some breast feeding advice I'm sure you've heard from your sisters but I hope this reaches other moms in the comments. NO ONE TOLD ME, and I wish they would have. Everyone's journey is not the same because they have different lifestyle needs. And I wish someone told me because all these moms on tiktok are over producers. And you have to pump after feeding your baby to basically trick your body into making more milk!! But over producing also comes with burdens (mastitis). I ebf at breast (on demand) and I didn't know that when you only do that you only produce whatever the baby needs (regulated). So pumping you won't get as much. Unless you pump earlier in. But the more you pump the more you'll make. I'm not a breast feeding pro but if someone had told me this I would have spared myself the ppa/baby blues of feeling like I'm not enough for my baby.

My pregnancy is leaving me bellybutton ring stretch marks too. I’m 31 weeks and I believe those are the only stretch marked I’ve gained so far lol. Probably not the last, but we will see

So excited for you Lauryn! I just had my baby boy last April and wish I was having another already whenever I watch your videos 🥹 I loved the lansinoh breast milk bags. I found they’re just easier to manipulate when pouring in the milk and close/open. Edit: I loved packing my hospital bag so much I had it ready for like a month! Then I got to the hospital and didn’t even open it once 🤦🏽‍♀️ but not everyone has a really rough birth. If I wasn’t so beat up I would’ve probably used what I brought more but I was completely wiped

Apparently the Costco brand diapers are Pampers brand but cheaper! Might be useful when you’re buying boxes when baby boy gets here🤍

Don't go crazy packing all the portpartum stuff in your hospital bag. The hospital will supply that stuff, and they usually send some home. Everything you have already you can use when you get home.
