London Elstree Aerodrome (ICAO: EGTR) is an operational general aviation aerodrome located in Elstree, and is situated 2.6 nautical miles (4.8 km; 3.0 mi) east of Watford, Hertfordshire, England.
Elstree Aerodrome has a CAA Ordinary Licence (Number P486) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction as authorized by the licensee (Aldenham Aviation LLP) (Source: Wikipedia)

Another great video. I am also awaiting the release of Dovetail Flight School. Here's hoping all of the hype was worth it. I do understand from reading about it, that, the next edition at the end of the year should even be better. Thanks again for all of your work on these Vids.

Love this video mate, beautiful scenery too, are you using Orbx England?. I live here in England in between Manchester & Liverpool, approx 20 minutes drive either side. Really looking forward to part 2. Cheers mate.

+MayDay GoingDown!! Oh I almost forgot, I am using ORBX OpenLC Europe. ORBX England sucks up my VAS very quickly. I like to run the sim with everything at max. OpenLC gives a good trade off.

+Osamah Alabdullah Hey thanks mate, I'm going to visit Cornwall for a week in June from the 12th onwards as all my family live there, if you get the chance to go you should. Hopefully the weather is gunna be good for you also, as it's predicted to be a very good long Summer this year.

As usual Osamah, your videos are amazing. I did a flight exactly like you, but unfortunately i can't prevent blurries and long texture loading times. The problem is my GTX 780 Ti-GPU was only on 50 % of usage, my I7 4960X was only on 12% and 10% of RAM Usage during the flight. Really i hate fly with blurry textures.

+ilyes maamri Blurry textures are very annoying and it is one thing you will never get with x-plane :-)

+Osamah Alabdullah In your video there were not Blurry textures?! Do you think the problem of blurry textures in my P3D is due to my old graphics card or to my P3D setting?

Hi there, just stumbled across your channel. Wanted to know how Elstree is performing in P3D. I already have FTX UK and some airports. Now i like to extend towards the north east. Unfortunately i get kind of strange FPS on EGHI and EGML. Now im worried that i end up with low FPS again. @ EGHI i had to switch of a lot of eye candy to get smooth 30FPS. But when i look towards the south the FPS goes down to 24 FPS. Towards the north i achieve stable 30FPS. Did you disable something? My sys is a beefy 5820k oc´ed 4.5GHz in GTX 980 SLI Thanx in advance.

Hey there thanks for stopping by =) The FPS is pretty good as long as the weather is not too cloudy. Your machine should be able to produce somewhere between 30 - 35 FPS when on the ground. Under heavy weather conditions, the FPS will drop if you are using SGSS 4 and above.

Thanx for the quick response. I do use 4xSGSS ever since. I never had problems in bad weather. Further down the coast over @ EGHR or EGHA is fine. So did not disable anything in the scenery?
