I always use EA-7 and BK-5, and the first one is great. I use it constantly but also the second one as well. However, I miss the app Lyrics Viewer that have deleted from an App Store. Roland BK-3, BK-5, and BK-7 are in constant sale, but only Tone Manager and BK Partner are available for them. For musicians who are working with lyrics and chords on keybords, it is an issue. I have the app Lyrics Viewer on my old Ipad Mini, but there is no possibility to download it on a newer Ipad. The app cannot be installed on newer ipads because it is no longer existent. I found no alternative for it. Will the same thing happen with the Tone Manager? Should i expect someting like that to happen? And how to deal with the lack of Lyrics Viewer?
Just one more thing, all the detailed videos on EA 7 are in a foreign language, we are aware how to select styles, but how does the accompaniment come on? I have used Rolands like the E series, 15,16,36 and 86, quite a lot of Yamahas and a few korgs but never had this issue. Kindly guide, thanks
Roland E-A7 is the best roland keyboard in next series insert more RAM memory minimum 512 it would be the best min 1gb than you would overtake the Korg, better touch screen the ability to edit pads and also to improve the memory of selected samples on styles , you are on the good way to be the best but all others specs take from EA7 only upgrade this keyboard to better also the better side of the keyboard is its lightweight work on smaller dimensions as well, compact keyboard with normal keys, quality of keys take from Korg M3 Korg Le or better the keys must be light for playing and low that you can play fast and with good feeling ....you can be the best I wish you also that Im owner of one Roland EA7 and also Korg pa3x you are on the good way , good luck
Tone manager needs multisample import support not just raw wav import. otherwise we will spend months to create a few multisamples.finding loops and renaming wav files not confused when creating the multisamples takes a lot of time. Takes about the same time doing all sample editing on the actual keyboard(ea7) than the tone manager.
I have purchased the EA 7, and am having difficulty in playing the multi-fingered chord as in a one-man show performance, with split keyboard. Why is it so complicated? where is the accompaniment button, like in other keyboards, you activate/press one button and you are ready to perform live? Also, can you suggest a tutorial in which can just explain the basic? I have tried 100 videos and not one explains this.I called Roland on the given number...no response, is there a direct email address, I can get some kind of support? Thanks
Why is there no expansion pack dance yet? Just add a package of modern trance dance sounds and styles and for sure Roland will win new customers! Why will not anyone do it? This ea7 has potential! 128mb for samples is not enough .. Unfortunately, I will be forced to part with the Roland company for Yamaha or Korg .. It's too bad :(
