The syllabus is the soul of any exam. Knowing the syllabus is the foremost thing to do before you go through the books. The UPSC has provided the syllabus for the Civil Services Preliminary and Main examination in an elaborate manner. Aspirants should understand and follow the syllabus for UPSC civil service examination. Knowing the syllabus will help you to choose relevant study materials, prioritize the subjects, etc. The newspapers are the most important aspect of the IAS exam. Create a habit of reading newspaper. The NCERT textbooks from classes six to twelve play a very significant role in IAS exam preparation. Aspirants can get basic concepts and theories from NCERT textbooks. These books provide the information very coherently. Moreover, they are reliable too as the source is the government itself.

To become ias to apply for upsc exam eligibility is +2 with degree..so you must finish your college but you start preparation now itself..

Always choose a professional course or choose a course which you are really interested in.. Don't choose a course only for reason it will help to clear upsc..It is not a good decision...If you choose professional courses means you have a extra confidence to approach civil services exam..you always on safer side...either you trying to clear it or other side you have a good job...its my suggestion..

Always choose a professional course or choose a course which you are really interested in.. Don't choose a course only for reason it will help to clear upsc..It is not a good decision...If you choose professional courses means you have a extra confidence to approach civil services exam..you always on safer side...either you trying to clear it or other side you have a good job...its my suggestion..No one have a guarantee that political science students can clear the UPSC Exam easily. It may just help you that's it. so don't stick with political science unless if you are really interested in that subject. Many professional course students also cleared UPSC Exam. Start your preparation from now itself..Understand the UPSC pattern and procedure first. Go through the UPSC syllabus thoroughly. Start reading a few books and watch video lectures online for a few basic subjects like polity, history, geography, etc. Read the newspaper regularly. Best wishes from Minds of children

Basic Eligibility to write UPSC exam is undergraduate degree.

IAS posting laam you can't get Dinesh after you become lawyer...you have to write upsc(civil service exam) and clear all round with high rank then only you became IAS officer...for that you have to complete your degree in any discipline..if you're interested in law then you study law first then you write a UPSC exam.. what's your ambition?? While on writing exam you have to cleared all paper kayal

Choose a course which you are really more interested in.. that's will be a right decision always for your life and career..sorry am not a person you to suggest any particular college or any academy..Based up on your 12th you choose a top college becoz in top college exposure is more for you..it helps to build your career..academy no suggesion always my suggestion goes with the self preparation..
