Here's how to add guidelines to your canvas for mandala paintings. This is how I create guidelines for all of my 12" by 12" mandala tutorials. I'm hoping this video will be useful. You can use this method for most any size and surface. If your surface gets larger than 12" just take the compass and use the end dot as your center... It's going to make a huge circle!
