If there was ever anything that needs more refinement, it would be 9 out of 10 of these things. Especially if it came from HL. They seem to get a different supply than other retailers. That isa great looking body tho! Looks like its going to hop off the dyno. Its tires out of round, wheels pressed or drilled crooked, its axles bent...no wonder the damn axle holes are so big. Metal guide pins too loud. These are great tips!!👍 Following
Nice work as always! So happy these Ultra G's at least get some attention-- I think some people beat 'em up a little too much! Would love to see some axle work too... hint hint
Another thing I do is take a bic medium point stick pen and run it between the commutater plates to indent the edges so the armature runs smoother across the brushes.
Great video Troy! It's like watching myself set one up. These cars are hit and miss like you said. My biggest complaint is that the rims are on crooked so often on these as well as on the xtraction cars. A simple fix though. I just change them out and install new ones. Irritating but it must be done.
Great video! I have a couple thunder jets and they are surprisingly becoming one of my favorites to race. I have one that really goes compared to the others. Maybe I’ll share a video of it. Running on 18V.
The purpose of replacing the guide pin in this video was to put a longer guide pin on the car to help the car stay in the slot. The stock one is pretty short
Iv tried to watch many of your videos but they are so long winded, most of the time i get bored before i actually learn something and close the video to find someone else that gets to the point and makes clear information
