One of my goals for my small business this year was to do more vendor events and we are working towards that goal now! I was invited to a local Galentine's event and it was such a good market. Come prep for this market with me and then let's go have fun at the event.

Im not gonna lie that you actually inspire me, gave me a boost 🙏🏻 I found your video where you speak about no sales at launch day and this is my 3rd video watching and it amazes me the you are a mom of 3 angels have to manage all household plus being a mom and still have the love to have your business. This alone, pushes me to keep going. I have a business open for handmade jewellery that i so much love, and since i opened the online store i havent gotten a single sale, at the same time, I am a full time employee for a big corporation in the airport, Im always super busy, I work many hours and I get super exhausted so i find myself loosing interest in my craft and I even thought of closing my shopify store cause its so disappointing that even though I have very little time for myself, my home and my family, i realized that i been just watching tv or youtube whenever i get sometime for myself and the business is falling through the cracks. But watching you, gives me a sense of uplifting to keep going and find my why ❤ keep going and God Bless you and your family❤

I love your setup. I have my crafts and products in drawers so they’re tucked away otherwise they’d be all over my desk. But I think a peg board would be extremely helpful.

Thank you! I have lots of drawers with a bunch of other things that are hidden in those drawers lol 🙈 But having my things that I use often in a spot I can easily access like the peg board is super helpful! 😊

I love everything you do! You had a great setup! Just one suggestion if I may. When you place shirts and stuff in a crate as you did here, place the size of the item in the lower right corner of the bag. That way you can see the size without having to move them around to find the needed size! I look forward to more videos!!!

Thank you so much! And thank you for the suggestion. I definitely noticed that during the market with the size stickers in a weird spot so I will definitely be making that adjustment for future markets! 😊

Thank you! I was interested in seeing how to turned out on the cup but when I went to put it on I realized I sized it too big. 😭 I'll have to order in a smaller size to try it lol

lol yes! I normally avoid them for the sizing struggle and putting them on with UV DTF is not easy either lol and I thought it would be a good idea to be adventurous now lol 🤦🏾‍♀😂 @@brittanyann

Hi! Awesome! I love how it turned out and I think it will add a nice touch to so many custom packaging things for my products. I definitely noticed the difference with including my why/story during the market. I am excited to continue to include that and see how it does for me in future markets. 😊

I love the green and yellow cup decor. The new stamp looks great. So glad you are doing better at markets. I am like you, I feel awkward talking to people and trying to engage. I get to the point at times I feel like a creep sitting there smiling and fumbling my words. lol😬

Thank you! I don't think I mentioned it in the video but I didn't get to use the green and yellow design because it ended up being way too big for the cans. 😭 I'll have to order a new size and try again. It is so hard trying to figure out how to start those conversations and having a balance not being overbearing, pushy or too laid back. I am hoping this new line will help me out some. lol I feel awkward too and don't know where to look all the time either lol You are not alone on that boat!

lady, you will do fine on your own. In the beginning, I relied on my kids to help me but then there were the weekends they had to go to their dad's, and I was by myself. I learned quickly that it can be done. I ask my vendor neighbor to watch my stand while I run to the bathroom. (p.s. I'm an awkward introvert). I only subscribe to introverted channels. :)

I know it will get easier the more that I do them solo and I am kind of excited because I will be able to do more market if I do them solo. So we will see how it goes! I have definitely seen vendors do that to go to the bathroom or get food and I know I have watched other's booths for those reasons too. 😊 I am honored to be a part of the club 🙌🏽 I am wishing you all the best of luck with your small business! 🎉

Great job at the market & your display is beautiful! As a mom I have to agree I don't know how to start a conversation & I don't know how to carry one haha being stay at home mom we learn to just speak toddler talk. My husband is the extrovert in our family & can talk up a storm with anyone he meets! But great video & thank you for sharing all about your experience!

Thank you! 😊 I am mostly at home with my kiddos (only going to work a couple of days a week for a couple of hours) so I know what you mean about just starting to speak toddler. I really enjoy going to the markets partly because I get the adult conversations but it is still so hard to start them. lol I wish I could do that sometimes but when I try it never works out well. 🤦🏾‍♀️😂 oh well! Just hopping on here to say that I think you’re doing an amazing job! So happy to hear you felt comfortable setting up and running the stall on your own for the first time. The sales patter gets easier the more you do it. Just don’t do what I did and mention pricing within the “I hand make all this stuff” bit. It really throws the patter off when you’ve changed your pricing for a certain event and then you have to stop and think about what you’re saying. 🤦🏼‍♀️😹 Anyhoo… Just keep doing what you’re doing because it’s awesome and fact you do it all with three tiny humans to look after too, it’s amazing! Well done you! ❤️ x

Thank you so much for your kind words! ❤️ I know it'll get easier and I'll feel more confident the more I do solo shows too. The chatting has always been something that I struggled with and have not found my "groove" yet but this time it did feel really good and natural so hopefully it continues on just the same. I try not to include pricing in that chatter too because I am awkward about it already and I feel like talking about that would just make me even more awkward lol Plus I have done that too where someone will ask me the price on something and I have to pause and think about it because I have a variety of items/prices lol I am feeling really good so far in 2024 and they are honestly a HUGE reason for it all! I would not have even started this business if it was not for my kids! 🥰 Wishing you all the best with your small business!🎉

Thank you! I wasn't able to use the green and yellow print because I sized it too big but I will get another one and hopefully it fits correctly lol I have been ordering my UV DTF gang sheets recently from a shop on Etsy Called DTF Kingz! They have had really great quality and super fast shipping times 😊

Tysm! I have some clear sublimation cups that I think would look better with the UVdtf, it’s too dull to just sublimate on the clear 🤦🏽‍♀️

Oops, I get my UVDTF gang sheets from an Etsy shop called DTFKingz 😊 So far I have really liked what I have received and it is pretty fast shipping!

I love watching your videos! They give me inspiration to keep going. Is the barcode method easier for you at checkout? Also at checkout to you charge tax or is that factored into the price?

Aww thank you for your kind words! It warms my heart that I inspire you. ❤️ For the barcodes my intention is to get a barcode scanner so my checkout process and inventory tracking can be much quicker. I don't currently have the scanner and using the camera on my iPad is not very efficient so its not helpful in that aspect but I do have specific information on my labels that I can use to help me quickly identify which item I need to select in my Shopify POS. I think it also looks really nice to have my prices on barcodes instead of hand written stickers (which is how I used to put pricing on my items). As for charging tax, my price on the sticker does not include tax. That is added on during check out. I have thought about adjusting pricing to include tax but I have not had any reason to make that switch yet but maybe in the future I will give it a try. I will say the one down side of adding tax on at the end is if people pay with cash then I do have to make sure I have coin change to give. I hope that was helpful! 😊
