Looking good again by the old barn. Sure didn’t take long to grow up after we had that cleaned out.

Throw that chain in the bin and get a new one. The chain not cutting correctly caused that problem. And welcome back 😁

I think so too. I need a new chain for my battery powered daw anyway. No idea ow old this chain is. Got this saw from my uncle who got it from his uncle. Might not ever have been changed.

@@TriStarHomestead Always a good idea to buy 2 if you can and if one gets to that stage again then you have another. I have done the same in the past and then reached a point where I would never sharpen them , just throw them away and use a new one.

That tree that you are calling a mulberry tree, the leafs look like the fruitless mulberry trees.

Lots of progress! Are you planning to capture any rain from your next barn? It's good to see that you pace yourself. Send some rain to back to California, will ya?
@TriStarHomestead

Yes I am. Not sure if I will bury a tank, use IBC totes or just have a big (1000+ gallon) above ground tank but yes, we will save water. I heard it rained yesterday in SoCal. Probably not as much as needed though. lol

Why dont yoe burn the scrap and get the nails with a magnet out of the ash?
@TriStarHomestead
@TriStarHomestead 2 месяца назад
That is on my list of ideas. I didn’t want to burn them on the ground because I didn’t want to miss a nail and risk an animal getting one. But I might burn them right on the concrete pad so that if anything gets missed it’ll just get buried under concrete.

I would suggest you watch some (how to video's) on chainsaw use--you need some pointer's before you cut something off.
