Dear Alwyn, in the woods my favorite trees alpine fir-trees and birches. 🌲🌿There are many mushrooms grow among birches. And the fir-trees is simply magic.
Hello Honey. My fav is the mossy box. I love spending time in the forest with you and when you make cute magical transitions of you popping into the woods. Actually you have inspired me to make a map of 'my own' woods behind my house. there is 'Raven Rock' and 'the thieves daughter forest', 'muggle peak' and 'blue berry dunes'. I would love to show you when i'm finished. Also deciduous it said deci'due'ous not deci'dee'ous💚🥰🌳. have a magic Ostara, from Norway.💙🦋🦋
My Mum is 89 and quite poorly in hospital. I've been with her all day today, and when i got home i was glad to see a new video of yours coming up shortly. I'm in my mid 60's, but still "young at heart" and your videos really make my day. Thank you
Dear woman, thank you for sharing. I was a little ill for a few days and now I am outside in fresh air and it is so good to see the Green Grass and little Springflowers. I wish you a relaxing and nourishing evening. All the best for you and your mother. With heartwarming greetings in this Moment from mine to yours ❤ Marianne
I love how you keep this child-like atmosphere all around you. This is the world I try to create from my grandchildren, too, because I homeschool them and we can create quite a magical surrounding. But if I were on my own, I don’t think I would have the drive to do it. Thank you for keeping me inspired.
Hi Alwyn, let me introduce myself! My name's Lucrezia and I'm from Italy. I discovered your youtube channel not so long ago, while searching for artistic inspiration and browsing for my special interests (just like you I am into all things whimsical and nature-related). You may not know me but let me tell you that from the very first video I felt at home, like you were a long-lost friend, a kindred soul. Your content simply conforts me, and watching you exploring the woodland, gently talking and concocting creative stuff, has become my favourite ritual in the evenings while I draw or study. As a late-diagnosed, level 1 autistic I've been struggling my entire life to find true friends and true connection, but knowing that souls like yours do exist makes me feel less alone, because I know someone in the world sees things just like I do. So I just wanted to say hi and thank you from the bottom of my heart! I acknowledge your creative work and you have gained yet another friend!
I was lucky enough to grow up in the forest, and I found wood sorrell all the time. We called them "clover", which I know now is not correct. I ate them ALL the time and it was extra special when I found the larger ones with purple flowers or with seed pods! When I was little, I called the pods "baby pickles" because they were tart like pickles. We also used to eat wild garlic and wild onions, wild strawberries, honeysuckle, and blackberries. My dad would say "The girls are out here grazin' again!" Watching your videos makes me homesick (but in a happy way).
Alwyn, your videos help me to ground and come back from all the stress that I seem to fall into. Please know that you are truly making a difference in our lives. I hope that your life is full of joy, peace, calm and inspiration as you bring to so many of us. Life is hard, stressful, even scary at times. And I'm sure that you have that as well. But to know that we all gather here in this space with you, with your beauty and joy and simple reminders that life is still full of beauty, surprises, and fairy/faery fun is a wonderful gift. THANK YOU so much for your time, effort and gift of simple joys!!!! May you have a blessed Ostara!!💐🐞🪲🐛🐝🌺🏵🌿☘🌱🌼🐛 --Tess
I love your videos. As a mum with two kiddies with special needs I haven’t got much time to myself and watching you lifts my spirits and gives me an escape. Thank you for your content
I just want to say I enjoy your content so much. Whenever I'm stressed or down your content gives me such comfort and peace of mind. The music, faires, and tea parties remind me of my childhood and I'm glad you remind me of it❤
I too went for a walk in the woods at the weekend. We alternate between the beach, the woods, the moors and hills and the riverside. I love the woods at this time of year. I'm a bit like you in the woods. Drove my partner crazy as I had to stop to investigate everything and say hello to all the tree buds, spring flowers and nesting birds. Even more exciting we met a family walking their baby goat called Puddles and his black lab protector! Loved your DIYs. It's inspired me to make something for my Ostara alter using the bits I collected in the woods. Ostara blessings!
I can't wait! I love your videos! I've been inspired to make an altar because of you and feel more connected to nature! Thank you so much for being unapologetically enchanted! 😊
I love lemons. One of my favorite things to do this time of year is walk around my neighborhood in California and rate my neighbor’s citrus trees. They all get top ratings 😊
I absolutely love these videos and of course Alwyn!!! Thank You for making my energies brighter ✨️ 😊 my fairies 🧚♂️ 🧚♀️ are also faithful watchers of your videos as well!!!! Have a wonderful day everyone! 😊
I've been watching you for a while now and I must say your cinematography has improved so much! So many aesthetically pleasing shots and vibes ❤ i look forward to every video you post! Sending all my love and positive energy from Canada ❤
Thank you for another beautiful story about the natural world. Your creations, are exquisic and wonderful You are speaking in a rare and wonderful language.
Another lovely, inspiring video, Alwyn. Thank you so much. Many of the comments echo the sentiment that your childlike wonder and enthusiasm inspire such joy in this community. I just came across this wonderful quote by Einstein yesterday, which I think is totally apt: "The pursuit of truth and beauty is a sphere of activity in which we are permitted to remain children all our lives."
alwyn I can’t tell you how I love this magical place you allow me to share I feel like we are kindred spirits as I have just getting back to my roots that some how I left I was raised by my grandmother who has been gone 30 years ….i have been trying to introduce my grands to the fairy life and they have a magical spark in their eyes and you are helping me to come back to this special world thank you from bottom of my heart
Happy Ostara! I’ve been battling cancer for about 2 years now and your videos give me peace. The production quality is fantastic. For some reason it reminds me of something I’d watch on public tv many years ago in the 70’s to early 80’s (I’m 50). 🐰🪺🍄💐🌛🌝🌜✨💫
Essiac Tea is a wonderful herbal support for the ill effects of cancer and holds a VERY SPEACIAL MAGIC of its own. Research this powerful tea to reveal it's true attributes...Bless you and trust in natures power! Look up Rene Cassie a Canadian nurse and Essiac tea...
Oh I how I love to be in your enchanted woods with you. I live in Northern California and although beautiful in the Spring, the lush plants, cool flowing stream and forest floor speak to my inner faerie. Thanks for your videos that transport us to your English magical place. Oh and the Rosemary Lemon cake looked scrumptious!
Thank you so much for being true to yourself and sharing all of your love and light with us! I enjoyed all of this video my fave is the baking of the cake! Blessed be!
Funny enough I too have little fairies or as I call them my elves on shelves! They are made from the BTS Mattel dolls that I bought and repainted, redid their hair the whole shabang! So I feel a little kinship when you waggle your finger at your little fairies! Anyway happy spring!🌱🍀🐣
MY GOD! Your videos are sooo inspiring. You teach us how to energetically connect to even the smallest things in nature. You are on a whole different level of magick than most witches I know of! So grateful!
I adore a lemon cake! It’s like a bite into sunshine and rainbows every time! Also a massive fan of using a lemon syrup to take my cake to a lip smacking new level! 💛💛💛
Everytime i see you've posted i get do happy. you're an inspiration for all of us . Watching your videos are so relaxing i just can't explain how happy i get by watching your videos . Keep going lots of love 💖🌱🌻 happy ostara to you!
Happy Ostara to all! In my corner of the world, Mother Nature decided to celebrate with a 20cm snowstorm. Ostara is always white and winter-ish here, so I keep most of its traditional celebrations for Beltane, when nature truly starts flourishing. For Ostara I'll load up on warm tea and candles instead. Happy Ostara to you, magical Alwyn! ♥
Wonderful, Alwyn really enjoyed your video and the joy you have being in touch with nature. When you were making your cake, I could almost smell the perfume of the lemons coming out of my phone .
Thank you Alwyn for sharing this magical video! Happy Ostara for you. I'm ones again inspired to get into the woods and collect some spring items. Enjoy this season ❤🧚♀️🌷🌱
I agree with you! I celebrate the battles of the Holly and Oak kings on the equinoxes, too! It's extra special for me because Mabon is my birthday, so I see the Holly King as my guardian :) thank you for the lovely video Alwyn!
I absolutely adore your adventures in the enchanted woods…how you embellished the moss box, the cake! But most especially the wreath blessed with gifts from the Forest floor…such joy you bring! ✨🍃🧚☘️💚🩵
....Sigh....after a grueling Monday at work, being pulled in so many directions, this was EXACTLY what I needed...thank you ever so much, Alwyn, for helping me exhale....😗☘💖☘😗
I visit a tall entwined tree with darling little cones every morning to heal and celebrate and chat. The energy of this tree is so warm. 🕯️🦉🔮🧖🏽♀️🔥🐉🌊💋💋👁️
Maybe the X is where the treasure lies….someone is telling you to dig 😉Thank you Alwyn 🍃 I’m in bed with a nasty cold ….your videos are so lovely, they always make me feel better. 💚
I was just finishing my Spring/Ostara decorations, and I have JUST searched for some Ostara content and here you are, posted a video an hour ago, yayyyy 💛🌱🌸🥚💐🍀🐥🐇
I always look forward to watching your videos. They are our breath of fresh air and you are so pleasant to listen to. Your videos are quite soothing and fun. FYI, that is a gorgeous necklace
The moss box looks so beautiful! I'm pressing thumbs the covering will make it last! Holly king and Oak king - I feel the same about their battles on the equinoxes. Beautiful as always, Alwyn. Please keep your awe and wonder 🧚♀️
Thank you lady oak for sharing your adventures in your magical forest ✨ the x rune means gifts ,skills, fertility, prosperity perfect for spring again thank you lady oak blessed be 🎉🎉
I always love your videos, i often am really busy with work and have a very busy business life. However i was a pagan first, my business life takes over sometimes, and your videos remind me to open my eyes and look at all the small things in nature around me. I am going to try and make the rosemary cake for Ostara 💚
Thank you thank you so much for this wonderful video. I'm gping to bake that yummy rosemary and lemon drizzle loaf cake. Happy Ostara beautiful Alwyn Oak 💚
The moss box you made was lovely 😍 The cones are alder, not elder. Elder trees have edible flowers and berries (the berries are super rich in vit C and make amazing jam! If you have elder trees near you you so need to make something with the flowers/berries!) Calming, nicely shot video, as always. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for your video! I was feeling desconected with nature and the universe and feeling anxious to the top! I feel so much better now, you give me a new perspective of things ❤
As above, so below..I like how you worked it in with Ostara...I enjoyed this video..I watch your RU-vid videos every now and again...and I follow you on Instagram....you have given me inspiration in the things you do with everything you create in "DIY" things you do...again, thank you..
Alwyn, I just made the lemon bread, BUT, with a slight twist. I used an orange this time and it is just as divine as with lemon!!! Just wanted to share. All the same ingredients, just instead of lemons I used one medium orange. So delicious!!! Now I have two scrumptious desserts to make over the brighter months ahead.
Excellent! Excellent! Your videos are always so relaxing and soul fulfilling. They are inspirational and motivational and always put me back touch with nature. Thank you.
Just blessed! How fun! I have been collecting tiny pinecones but not sure where they will end up yet. Amazing crafts and that moss box is amazing! That cake seems like one to try as soon as possible... Thank you! ❤Xo Joanne
Your videos make this crazy world bearable. Can you tell us when you do a craft...i.e.: painting your moss box,...did you use an acrylic paint? I think you did . I am not crafty at all but you inspire me! xoxo
Your videos are so beautiful Alwyn. Always inspiring. That cake looks absolutely delicious too. I hope there is a recipe somewhere. Merry Spring Equinox xx
Alwyn your videos are so soothing to the heart. I’m sat here with my tea, notebook, listening to the rain and feel so grounded and inspired 🌱 thank you 💚
Hi Alwyn, I love your videos and I keep meaning to make a comment about your little vintage coffee grinder pencil sharpener. I too used to have one of these, the little handle on the top is for decoration only, it never operated the sharpener. The pencil sharpener itself is a manual one, so it will still work. I think the sharpening go into the drawer of the coffee grinder as far as I can remember. Much love xx
Alwyn, have you ever thought about cultivating this woodland in any way? E.g. contibuiting to rewilding it in some way? Or planting say strawberries somewhere in there, in a hidden place that only you would know, and going back to check in on them as you grow?
