Description
I walk through what I have prepared for my session zero for Critical Role's Call of the Netherdeep. I will go over what you need to know before you run your campaign, what should be included in your session zero, preparing a one page summary for your campaign, and setting expectation for your players during your session zero.
We also briefly discuss how to find players for both an online and in-person game.

I just took a look at your notion. This is amazing. I'm currently preparing this adventure. I love, how much effort you put into the session notes, NPCs and the locations. What tools are you using for the pictures and the maps?

Thanks! Most of the maps I got from Reddit. u/katvalkyrie www.reddit.com/r/CalloftheNetherdeep/comments/10zwdlp/maps_for_ch_7_the_heart_of_despair/?. NPCs I use the pictures from the book or Midjourney.

This is awesome! Thanks for the content! My party and I will be starting CotND's session zero tomorow. I was planningon using the Frozen Sick module to start. Any thoughts on that? Also, I am deff using Notion to plot out my campaign. I'm a first time DM and this is exactly to digital tool, I've been looking for.

Good luck! I know quite a few people have run Frozen Sick before diving into the Festival of Merit and have made it work for their parties. I don't remember all the details of that adventure but as long as you give your party a reason to make the journey to Jigow you should be good to go. Keep me updated with how things go!
