I found one of your videos on my recommended page yesterday and then watched a bunch of your other videos. I'm 21 so probably not part of the majority of the demographic that watches your videos but I just find them so wholesome and they make me feel happy in the midst of all this chaos. Also I noticed you gained almost 5k subscribers literally overnight and I'm very happy for you! Your family is adorable!

Our stores have NO ramen, canned beans, veggies, etc. I just so happened to find a couple of bags of dried beans my second try. No frozen veggies. There were only frozen blueberries and edamame. No eggs. Once there was no canned fruit. No oatmeal...potatoes...spam.. So we've been doing lots of peanut butter and honey sandwiches! With bananas

I love her vlogs💕. Honestly, I see A majority of youtubers attempting to clarify that they aren’t hoarding but instead just trying to avoid going out for an extra week or so .. and honestly THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THAT. If somebody has the funds to get enough food to make sure that they don’t have to put themselves in contact with a mass amount of people for an extended period of time more power to them. Great job Christy! Awesome mom alert!

NO IT REALLY DOES NOT SEEM LIKE ALOT FOR A FAMILY OF 7....

She’s not lying, that’s not a lot of food especially for a large family that can eat. My cousins are large eaters and my aunt bought 2 baskets worth of food and it was gone a little before 4 weeks.

Take things out of boxes to make more space in the freezer

Gigi and tali were a mood , she asked Talía could she do a kart wheel and she was so honest she didn’t care as long as she had some food in her hand & Gigi was just so quite eating the food like they were a mood makes me want to get some burgers haha

I’m a family of 4 with 2 teenage boys and we shopped enough to where I don’t have to go out for a month. It was pricey probably double what I would spend in a month but our goal is to stay in completely. Thank goodness my husband’s job closed for a few weeks. He will thankfully still get paid if they aren’t out too long. It breaks my heart that some will be without and I know how fortunate we are that we are in the position we are in. With that being said I wouldn’t apologize for doing what you have to for your family. I’m completely stocked up and I don’t feel bad because with my immune system being compromised and my son having chronic asthma my first goal is to keep us safe and healthy.

Ugh I was hoping and praying the coronavirus outbreak wouldnt get too bad in the USA but considering whats going on with the shutdowns to the north and west of me(Nashville, TN) I just knew it was only a matter of time before it happened here so I went out and spent $400 between the grocery store and dollar store to stock up. But once I got home and got everything put away I had an email from my work(restaurant) waiting for me stating everyone was laid off since we our having to close our doors until the coronavirus is in check and behind us. So for the 1st time in my life I've got to figure out how unemployment works and apply! But on a much lighter note I am happy to have some time off to spend with my family and get some things done around the house that I've been putting off for awhile. I just found your channel the other day and really love it!! Such a positive and productive mama/wife you are!! Lord knows I need to practice it for myself minus the wife part since I'm a single mother 🥰 so I wanted to say thank you for your channel and all that you do. It's very inspiring and encouraging! All of us need someone to light a fire under our butts from time to time!! lol 🤣🥰

My mom is a Social Worker and she teaches me how to observe students or anyone in my school that I think have been or is being neglected 😩. I have a very tight relationship with my classmates ,and that will never change. That way they can tell me anything and they will get help! My mom is all about giving 💕.

Distilled water is just deionized water, so regular water without ions. Aka it is basically extra filtered water haha! We have DI water for labs at CSULB, think of it as extra filtered tap water. 😊

Heres a tip. You can sanitize with hydrogen peroxide! I read an article awhile back that thats what they use in dr offices/ hospital to sanitize! I went to two different stores today to find some lysol spray and wipes and there was NONE! so i got me two bottle of the peroxide and sanitized my whole house today! Stay safe! Distilled water goes through distillation, while purified water is processed by other means (reverse osmosis, sand filtration, ion exchange, etc.)

I should have taped my haul. Lol.. distilled and purified water really isn’t much different, distilled goes through a distillation process.

i looked up what the difference between the waters is and it said there’s significantly no difference, it’s just the process of the purification. also LOVE YOUR FAMILY you guys are so organized and sweet. 💕❤️

At the beginning of the lockdown I often went to different shops for certain things I couldn’t get. I found fresh fruit at the beginning easier to get as most ppl where overbuying pasta. If I eat something a little too spicy I have extra rice to cook my mouth down. At the end I sometimes have a bit of rice on it’s own to cool my mouth down. It don’t look like a lot of food.

I did the same thing with the water when we had all of the fires! As far as I know, the distilled is fine for drinking too in this case. The distilled process takes the minerals out I believe.

I grew up in a family of 7... 4 sisters no brothers. You really can't go wrong with the big bags of cereal. It taste just as great as the name brand boxed cereal and you get A LOT of it!

We love making “sincronizadas” which is kinda of like quesadillas. It’s with 2 flour tortillas filled with lots of cheese and a slice of ham. Once the cheese is melted my kids love to stuff them with avocado tomatoes and sour cream. Yummy.

My ex-husband used to cut the spam ham in little pieces add corn, and he will eat it with saltine crackers. My mom used to cut it in little pieces and would added to her red rice. She would also would made spaghetti with spam. My mom had 11 kids.

Dice up some potatoes when they are at their last 8 to 10 minutes of cooking add the can of hash. Kids like ketchup, us older folk love the Chipotle Tabasco, the only Tabasco that doesn't taste and smell of vinegar. And the Chipotle Tabasco sauce is thicker, the smokey flavor hits just right.

It's cute/sad that you think you've bought enough to have to be concerned about people thinking you're hoarding. You didn't even buy that much considering your family size. I know a family that has four kids and most of what you bought would be done in about a week at their house. I hope you guys are able to avoid going out as much as possible. Distilled water is stripped of important minerals. Calcium, magnesium, salt. Your water will taste flat. In purified water, the impurities have been removed.😉

Helpful tip, freeze your bread loaves. We do this as we don't eat bread right away/frequently! 💜

purified water is water that is filtered by machines in companies and distilled water is boiled to filter out the bad stuff so they kinda taste different a little

When drinking distilled water, make sure you and your children also drink other sources of water. Drinking only distilled water can lead to electrolyte imbalance, especially in children. You should only drink it in moderation.
