Hell yeah dude! It really means a lot to mean that you reached out. Day 1 is absolutely the hardest but you can do it. I tried and failed miserably two years in a row before I was able to finish the 31 days. It’s unbelievable how you don’t understand how addicted you are to something unless you try and stop. Hell yeah dude! Now remember, don’t put too much expectation on yourself. It took me 3 years of trying to successfully fully complete the whole month. I don’t know what level of substance use you are at, but do what you can and if you don’t make the full 31 days that’s ok. It’s hard enough practicing sobriety but trying to exercise and eat well is a lot. Good luck and vlog your experience!
Brother, I'm hitting the IPAs right now! I haven't even thought about Sober October until this video! It is absolutely time to prepare mentally, physically, and spiritually! Last year I used non-alcoholic beer to get me through and, honestly, it felt like cheating! This year we are going to KILL IT!
hahaha the sweet nectar of the gods! You do what you can, you know? It has taken me 4 years to slowly build up to stopping everything. Last year i did the whole month besides just a couple days i caved. But try and challenge yourself, even if you don't make the whole month. The fact that your try is a good sign. I'm a struggling alcoholic and last year was my first one then I did 100 days sober the 1st of 2021. It was really hard but refreshing. Day 101 I got shitfaced and regretted it. Anyways...stay strong man and let's crush #soberoctober2021
Thanks for sharing your story. 100 days is a long time to practice sobriety and you can do it again. And yes it is really nice to just take a break from everything.
