I'd certainly be interested in seeing how you utilize TAK for in camp and for your deployed teams during the day. As always, great content. Having a quiet camp will be awesome for all involved

Thanks for watching we agree on trying to improve the camp for the guys. They work hard and long hours deployed. We have a video on that system coming soon

Great points. We also have that SAN that’s using a lot of power. I think we have the genset sorted out now and if we find ourselves in that situation we will just shut down the server and other gear to preserve the runtime on the system. But we do have nearly 11 hours or more. Typically that gets us our travel time to most sites. Thanks for watching. Great comments

Have you guys considered putting solar on the roof of the trailers?
@ParkerSystems
@ParkerSystems 2 месяца назад
Yes. We have basic solar on the lift gate trailers … 300 watts to maintain the lift batteries. We plan on doing several panels on the newest trailer. Thanks for watching

Looking good, I really like getting toma remote generator to get away from the noise and vibration of self-contained sleeping units. Looking at your stairs, maybe do a slide out setup, either a straight out and drop stairs or a drawer that pulls out and stairs that fold down. Install a complete belly box storage system with slide out trays for all of the camp stuff like tables and chairs, coffee pot, etc. Is it feasible to install RV type gensets on the trailers to make them totally self-sufficient during transit? Someone is making freezers and refers with soft start compressors that ramp up and down as required to maintain temp instead of the standard on/off cycle that requires high amperage to start. At some point depending on the amount of people you're feeding and deployment length does it make sense to build out a self-contained mobile kitchen unit complete with a walk-in refrigeration/freezer combo unit and dry storage or maybe a refer unit belly box for drinks and food to make access easier. Marine boat systems are set up to be energy squeezers especially the cruiser sailboats that can be mostly solar powered.

All about redundancy, if the kitchen trailer has an issue or gets into a accident the whole operation is jeopardized

I agree with you on the gensets. The stairs are getting better. I like slide idea and we have examples of those that slide under. But we typically do aluminum stair blanks and customize them. Great points. We have done a couple other videos on the channel that outline the systems on board. For the gensets all the trailers have on board units that we transport the trailers with. They are rv 12,500 watt units. We are familiar with the soft start tech. The sailboats are great point. Thanks for watching and your thoughtful comments.

Wish I could find an M1022A1 mobilizer for my military modular comms shelter. I figure it is not loaded out heavy with radio gear but with some sleeping accommodations for 3, dry storage, small refrigerator, comm gear, computer, TV, it could be towed with my military HUMMV.

Great work guys and hopefully you won't have to make many trips.😊 Nobody likes disasters or hurricanes. Best to be prepared though. I have been watching you guys since you started and appreciate what you do for people in distress.😊

We have one coming. In the video with Stewart from the hurricane two years ago we briefly outline that tool. Those guys have added lots of new features … we will get you a video on that soon. Thanks for watching

I wish I had remote facilities like that back when I was doing concerts and on-location TV events. I learned to sleep in a lot of places that were less than ideal.

We started that way as well. First couple of storms the guys were sleeping on the floor and across the seats in trucks. Thanks for watching
