Preparing for the Bournemouth Brick Festival - Sorting through & pricing up the Lego sets I'm taking

It's nearly time again for the Bournemouth Brick Festival - My local Brick Festival event.
Preparing for these events always takes quite a while, so watch as I go through most of the sets that I will be taking to the event this year, including most of the prices I will be charging.
The Bourneouth Brick Festival takes place from 10am till 4pm on Saturday 7th September 2024 at the Bournemouth International Centre.
Tickets for the 11am and 12 noon time slots have already sold out, however early bird tickets for 10am,as well as standard entry tickets from 1pm onwards as still available on their website brickfestivale...

Hi Iain! Adam here, great to finally meet you at Brick Festival in Bournemouth, i went after seeing this video! It was well worth the trip and thanks for all your advice on events worth attending in the next 12 months. Hope you sort your storage out!

What a GREAT selection you're taking to this one. Unfortunately I was going to come along, but now can't make it, so I'll have to catch you at the next one. But.... 3300001 BRICKLEY - I haven't seen one of those new in box for YEARS ! and your blue and white space babies for £18 is a bargain, I imagine someone will snap them up quick. I got my Dark blue space torso the day after you were in the store, and managed to upload a video on it, very quickly. Have a GREAT show, I'm sure you're going to do well with the sets you're taking.

Brilliant assortment for the festival, I love that you added the oxygen tanks in the space diner set (very thoughtful). I hope you have a wonderful day selling everything. Best of luck.

Thank you. Yes, the oxygen tanks weren't too expensive but I felt they were missing and should have been included in the original set.

It's taken me ages to get everything sorted this time. I'm able to take more sets as well as a friend is bringing some extra sets for me in my car.

You ever worry you sell some sets too soon? I can see that brick moulding machine set going for over 500 pounds in a couple of years.

It's a tricky one. It's a set that has increased in value a lot since I bought it 2 years ago. I know it will continue to increase as well, but I guess I have to sell it sometime.

You are bringing some good stuff Iain, very nice indeed. I do so much regret missing out on the Lego Missions theme (started our lego hobby only 3,5 years ago), there are some great figs in there like the Gremlins, the A-team and Knightrider etc. Now they are fairly pricy 😉. Good luck this weekend, hope it will be a busy one for you

Morning mate!! Know the feeling, as like you I only got in last week … so mad prepping been going all week!! Did you have a problem getting any backing tables, wouldn’t let me book any out … only main tables? Thanks Lee. I needed to email BF in order for them to add backing tables to my order. I'll be setting off from home around 7am which is why I love doing local shows.

Most of those sets are priced quite high eg £38 for the clone carrier.

It's quite tricky to get the prices right when selling at these festivals, however I do take time before show to check sold ebay prices beforehand to make sure I'm not too overpriced

If you want to sell at one of these events, how often do you they emailed you on the trader list?

@@theemperorinarmour8911 So for Brick Festival, traders tickets normally go on sale around 6 months to a year before the event. There is sometimes a 2nd wave of tickets around 2 weeks before as well, but not for every event.
