You are awesome, girl! I admire your creativeness. I'm here in FL, and since all my garden experience is from Maine, this is a new ball game for me. The most recent lesson to learn is how to keep the ants at Bay. They even ate the garlic! Wow, I'm glad my house is up on stilts. ( It floods here, every few years) Always happy to see your posts; no drama, anger or evilness. You are an inspiration to "bloom where you're planted".🙏💞
Try sprinkling instant grits around your plants when dry. You'll have to reapply as they lose effect when wet. I've seen a guy in Louisiana take ants from one bed and add to another bed as they will fight and kill each other.
@@aliceserna614 thanks! I've used the grits treatment in years past and it does work. I sort of forgot about it. Maybe because most corn is now GMO? Moving them to another ant pile is an interesting idea, though.
@@sueyoung2115 I wish I could remember who the guy was so to be able to follow up. He did say from one hill to the other the ants would fight each other. Similar to ants and termites. Ants will go after them to kill. I just don't want them around my garden or fruit trees.
