I'm not well versed in alchemy teaching, but I'm fascinated. I'm struggling thru some mid-life crisis currently, I think I lost my son 2 years ago, in auto accident, then had a total knee replacement 1yr ago, and quit my job recently. I don't understand how to understand myself. Are there easy step by step instructions to understand and follow how to use this alchemical system you can point me to? Thank you

The spiritual awakening process is synonymous with Jung's Individuation. I experienced a direct encounter with the Mysterium Tremendum, 24 years ago, after I had been working with a Jungian Analyst and studying my dreams for several years. This is also called a "kundalini awakening" or the process of Self Realization. It's amazing how the process unfolds pretty much identical to the alchemical process. After 30 years on this path, I have become the Stone yet the solar and lunar continue to grow and integrate. The journey never actually ends but the discovery and realization of the Self ...the Peal of Great Price and the Philosopher's Stone is well worth the work and agony experienced. Me too. Jung is a gateway to alchemy. There's so much more to get to. I'm writing a book that synthesizes alchemy and creative work. Jung's conception of alchemy was brilliant but also limited, as he saw it as almost purely psychologically projected. It is that, and more.

I recently dreamed of a fountain, it was empty, unadorned... I was able to gain access through secretive, locked doors. I entered from the west. Yea 👏👏👏 your back ! I’m so excited. So here’s some synchronicity 4 U . Lately I’ve been thinking about getting a tarot deck and been discussing this with others . And I’ve just started watching A Discovery of Witches on Netflix. The theme of the show is based on alchemy. I think we know the cards are all alchemical . Honestly the 1st image you showed in this video reminded me of the Ace of Cups while the next to come reminds me of the Lovers card . So the last piece of the synchronicities is I received a Shadow Work Journal book from a friend for my birthday last month. I feel all these pieces are moving into position somehow. Some of Jung's works I am in awe,, especially his Letters Vol 1, vol 2 arrives next week,. My approach to the Col Uncon includes Alchemy in part,, but mainly my approach is via study of history. cathars, anabaptists, etc etc. CG never wished we follow his own path, but that we larn from his work and strike out on new meanings, understandings,, which is what i intend to do,
Ego or the mind can never figure it out. It’s going to be in a flow State. It’s a logic and heart combined, you need to open the heart, because this is connected to the heart of the Cosmos.
Dimensions in perspective. The universe gives me a new perspective when I make a new decision and get out of an old pattern. But first, mental conflicts become very uncomfortable. I have a choice. I can change the behavior to fit the belief or I can change the belief to put the behavior. I choose the behavior, so I’m trying to integrate, I have new values I’m trying to act upon as I have formed them myself.
I find it’s imperative to include other disciplines. He does not implement enough of the feminine. The feminine is half of the equation, the feminine, chaotic nature, is literally in the unconscious, and the sensitivity of the female, is what can mostly pick up this essence.
Jeffrey Raff has a good book called "Jung and the Alchemical Imagination" which takes the reader through the plates of the mysterious "The Book of Lambspring," an alchemical book, written in verse, that's available in translation from Arthur Edward Waite.
I am very excited and happy for you to be back with a new series! Although I am "advanced" spiritually lol I am new To Carl Jung and his ways. I quickly became a fan, however, where the hell do I start? The Red Book? The Black Books? Aion? I have the Red Book and Aion and have dabbled into it, could you advise me where to start as far as his books and the best video series you have? Again I am thankful for your knowledge and your willingness to share!
If you feel the need to say “advanced” as it pertains to spirituality, than you are in fact not advanced. A college graduate doesn’t feel the need to tout to kindergarteners that’s he’s “advanced” in knowledge for it serves no purpose other than vain glory to oneself. If you can’t understand this than you’re not indeed “advanced” enough. As for Jung, start with “The psychology of the unconscious” as it’s his foundational work for understanding broader concepts

I came across cgjung in 2004 due to some unusal event. I was left handed and began writing with my right. They still argue but less these days at least for the time being. This internet is the objective realisation of jungs collective unconsious? 🦍🌹👀
I find that knowledge is power, but one must take a poly Matic approach to see how it all connects, it all connects through a multidisciplinary way. Zoom out, and then look at the similarities with the mythology, because that is helpful as well. At least it was for me.
a U Turn is when a car goes back at 180° and does a reversal on the opposite direction. does that mean you want me to rethink what I'm doing and go 10 step backwards. It’s a circle because the unconscious, or mother nature is circular. Consciousness, or ego is straight lines. You don’t see any straight lines in nature as per Joseph Campbell. So we are living in squares circles. We have to change it around and live by the souls plan. The medium area between the known and the unknown, the Paradox
Technically, we don’t need the symbolism by JUNG because each individual, though they have collected meanings, it will have a specific meaning to the individual. So what worked for JUNG is not going to specifically work for Bob, Doris, or Jerry. If we all had old people names.
True and Not true, as with all deep knowlledge, paradox is King of the art, so yes agree what Jung worked w might be of some interest to me, and some not interested at all, so here we agree., I am now havibg critical readings in Jung, Jung and I conflict on certain of his views on the bible/catholicism, But in his letters, WOW he clears up some things yet makes a few statements I have to argue with. I just finsihed Letters Vol 1, vol 2 arrives next week, Jung has alotttt to say yet no one is listening which is why I am veryyyyy attentive to everything he wrote, CG and I have agreements and disagreements, as He said should be the case, Follow your own path.
Jung preached this. He didn't want you to follow him, but to discover your own myth, pull out from your own soul. You can learn from him, but use theories as a scaffolding and build your own house and furnish your own rooms. To be "Jungian" is to be a weaker version of Jung. That isn't individuating.
@@nathanhassallpoetry Exactly, Just read B Hammah's and Bair's bios on Jung both quote CG **I am so so so (my addons) glad I am not a jungian,, but am CG Jung*** Jung did not mind some useage of his terms,, but up to a pont he wanted all his students to break out on new UNDISCOVERED territory,, which I am commited to.Glad to meet others who understand this, Hopefulkly one day we can gather in week long seminars, But WITHOUT The Jungianists. Its my goal to expose The Jungains as frauds. This is one of my main objectives in studying CG's works, to expose the jungains as fakes and frauds. The CG Jung Club here in New Orleans,, in fact ALL Jung groups around the world are frauds, fakes and NOT of Jung. I've done the research, they are all frauds. with CG's ideas the super duper critical component is EXPERIENCES,,,, later The Gnosis. IMHO CG spent wayyyy too much time focused on alchemy. Sure the alchemists had spiritual genius, no doubt,, But CG failed to highlight the God experiences in other groups and MORE IMPORTANT failed to expose the antichrist beast system. The 2 groups I am refering to are The Cathars and The anabaptists, both were sent from God at a super duper duper critcal point in history... But CG had his reasons for not exploring both spirital groups and also his reasons for not FULLY exposing religion as the antichrist beast system. Two huge errors on CG's part,, but as I say he had his reasons on both scores My alchemy imagery comes from the bible and life itself.
