Its a really a good product.. My question is how to use it in maxillary molar for pfm prep... Because it has palatal functional cusp 2 mm and buccal 1.5 mm... So how we can insert 2 mm prep gauge to palatal side through buccal side because buccal side it has 1.5mm clearance..
Hey Nishant... Glad you think in a practical manner... So you are spot on with your observation... It ain't physically possible to check palatal clearance... In such situations u only use 1.5 gauge and make sure it has more palatal freedom than buccal... The use of Artispot or Artispray is most recommended in such scenarios... Best wishes..
Somethings a self learn from reflection... If we were taught everything, we might not have value for novelty... Think about it... Best wishes to you Rahul
Absolutely yes... Just slide them along the proximal use with the same feeler gauge concept... Additionally use paints to check for areas that may need further reduction if any.
Very imformative vedio sir..i have your book also..its amazing..but sir today i have accidentally overeduced mandibular molar oocclusally..so now..tooth length has reduced bucally..what should i do..?
The circular portion is for handling the gauge and to allow for it to hold shape... Besides that portion is not designed to come into bite at all... So it does not hinder at all...
@@DrMoezKhakianiMDSMumbai i still don't have a clinic sir i am planning to open my clinic now so i didn't use the product as of now but i commented just on the basis of your explanation. I will review it once i start using it sir.
Sir,i am using this product.Honestly, its very difficult to use in posterior areas as the round table of prep gauge is difficult to place through buccal corridor due to its larger size, esp in mandibular 2nd molar area.Secondly, they can not be placed in straight line in posterior areas.Request to reduce the overall size of prep gauge.
