I'm a Xayah OTP with Kai'sa as my second pick, and both your Kai'sa and Xayah guides are my absoulute favorite guides on RU-vid for these champs. I really loved this new updated guide for s12, and I'd really love to have an updated Xayah guide, since nobody else I've seen takes the time to REALLY explain all the nuances for the champs kit and how to actually use it in game situations. I also miss the coaching videos for the same reason. Keep up the good work.

huge props for this, a lot of stuff just clicked for me since i couldn’t for the love of god figure out what i was doing wrong (lane lead avg and a 23% winrate) and i’ve understood what to do in the midgame and saw results immediately out of silver we go!

I forgot to mention, if you finish Collector after kraken, you should go runaans for e upgrade

What do you mean by „for e updrade“? A zeal component is usually enough for e upgrade at that point in the game with boots. So why runaans over pd if you have collector?

can you elaborate on this? kraken + collector + runaans alone only gives e upgrade at lvl 18, so you'd still need t2 boots, so why not do the standard kraken + collector + pd + t2 boots?

Both would give you E upgrade, but I’m guessing you’d prefer runaans because you don’t need the extra damage from pd (since you have collector already).

Sometimes into very lethal ADCs like twitch or jinx I’ll take press the attack I find it the best rune to kill a target in as little time as possible and it scales much better than hail of blades

As a Kai’sa main for the past few seasons, I had no idea how much the durability patch impacted team fighting once HoB changed to LT in Kai’sa builds. I’m still doing well in lane because those mechanics stayed the same but couldn’t extend my lead into mid-late game so this explains that super well with the LT+PD stacking!

Currently D2 playing a lot of Kai sa, and I have to try stacking and jumping to backline. I find in a lot of games I cant kill when I jump backline and I'm guessing this is why! Thanks for explaining. Hopefully I can use this to get to your elo and beat you with it >:)

Saber have you ever tried Alacrity in the precision runepage and taste of blood and Ultimate Hunter at the second one? Taste of blood gives us sustain in laning phase and the ult CDR comes in very clutch to me, especially against kill lanes where the biscuits aren't that necessary. And I feel that since the durability patch, bloodline isn't making much difference especially on Kaisa, so I think it's a great runepage for her and it synergizes very well with the bork build as you can be agressive as fuck

Ult cdr ain't that good you will have your ultimate, treasure is good however, harder snowball. But overall it's not worth losing the free 300g of the boots and the cookies sustain.

If ur a new player, U should try coach curtis and get down the basics right while ur not in bad habits, because easier to make good habits first than break bad habits. Focus on 1.last hitting (that is a shit ton of free gold), 2.poking enemy when they go for their minion hits and u dont have a minion to last hit (we do our homework first and then when the enemy tries to do their homework, we hit em on the head with a hammer) and 3. check mini map in between last hits when enemy champ also does not have last hits (every few seconds, to make sure jg or mid isnt rotating to ur lane >> when in doubt, move out) GL!

Very good, thank you! Question: how do play around a frontline that is very threatening (I'm thinking something like a big Swain ulting with Rylai, or a fat Udyr with Prowler maybe) in order to stack pd/lethal tempo before ulting on the backline?

I think in this situation you either need a peeler or you save you're e to mindgame that frontline unit instead of using it before you start the fight to stack pd and lt. You wont have e for the backline in this situation tho

i had a super painful 50 minute kaisa game today, 50 minutes long, against zed and khazix with only my support peeling for me. i did 90k damage but sadly they piled on me and ended the game eventually

Have you tried on-hit yet? LT, pom, bloodline, cutdown/coup, absolute+gathering. Kraken -> bork/wits end -> bork/rageblade. It's so easy to kite and you absolutely shred tanks and anyone else when you hit 3 items.

would you ever go nashor's 4th or 5th item on kai'sa instead of LDR/GA? obviously only good in very specific situations but it seems good into heavy armor stacking when your team is full ad or perhaps against heavy poke/kite comps when your team doesn't have hard engage

First off, much appreciate it Saber, you are my adc role model frfr. Secondly, You missed an upgrade animation cancel. Instead of recall (b), you can double click (e) at the same time as upgrade. Im not sure if its possible single click, probably a tick thing, but its technically faster when getting to lane.

The dirk is ewww and collector disgusting, Kraken double long sword is good but I'm personally from the school of pickaxe after Kraken. I'm holding back on the navori build because it feels so good there's no way it ain't getting nerfed and moving back from it would be horrendous but if you spam Kai'sa cause she's good at the moment go for it. I'm also having trouble with the Kraken Bork Guinsoo build but number says it's good.
