Modern day cutscenes in 3rd person in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. There are leftover full-body animations of the present-day protagonist from motion capture.
@@Amikeur Honestly they never should have "updated the Animus" so that the Modern Day protagonist is not a descendant. It was made such a big deal in the first 5 AC games that Desmond was a descendant of all the 3 ancestors, Altair, Ezio and Ratonhnhaketon. And it made the Modern Day feel closer tot he Animus, as if Desmond was developing a relationship through time with his ancestors, as long lost cousins or something. This is especially visible in AC Brotherhood, which has the best MD of all classic AC games.
@@paulmayson3129 Moreover I liked the idea of showing an American having Arabs, Europeans, Native ancestors or whatever. Showing that finally we might all come from the same places.
I love how they don't even bother animating the chairs. Unironically, I love it when devs get lazy like that. Makes their games feel that much more human.
Less so about laziness and more about being efficient. If the player can’t see themselves sitting in a chair in cutscene then there’s no need to spend time, money, people animating it
@@gabriellopesguimaraes3513I think it’s validated with Ubisoft track record lately. You fanboys are just as bad for having this crap company still sell crap in the form of golden crap
This makes me think they used Edward as a placeholder model for an actual MD character with a body, instead deciding on essentially a floating head late in development.
I doubt that that would ever happen, newbie is supposed to be representative of the player, and if they gave them a body, they would likely have to make them have a specific gender and ethnicity for it. It is possible for both of them to be neutral (such as covering the entire body up) but it would make little sense given how the others are dressed.
Part of me thinks we’re actually playing as Layla in 4, Rogue, Unity & Syndicate before her introduction in Origins. She worked on the Animus project (which is pretty much how we’re able to play as Edward) then in Rogue we learned more about the Templars with Shay and in the post-credit scene with Violet, Otso & Melanie recruiting you but it cuts to black. Then for Unity & Syndicate Layla slowly joins the Assassins by learning skills from Arno, Jacob & Evie to eventually travel to Egypt.
Layla was trying to get onto the Animus Project for years but Abstergo never promoted / moved her to it. It is one of the reasons why she resents Abstergo, and was trying to prove how valuable for it she would be by making a discovery worth their attention. That discovery is Bayek, Aya, and the origins of the Assassins (as Hidden Ones). But they terminated her friend Deanna, and were ordered to kill Layla as well but of course they failed.
i just continue my Assassin's Creed marathon, i ended June with finishing AC3, and i started July 1st with Black Flag, and again this video appear 😂 gotta subscribe
This is insane lol, I really wonder who they intended for the character to be? I really wonder how Shawn and Rebecca managed to get a job at abstergo without getting caught, great video man :)
Comment peut-on faire pour jouer à la 3ème personne dans AC BF please ? Est-ce que c’est un mode piraté créé par l’auteur de la vidéo ou il y a un moyen de faire ça directement dans le jeu officiel ?
