Thanks Jeremy. It was nice to see someone talk about NDE's and a psychedelic substance, especially from someone who has had both. While I never had an NDE, the psychedelic experiences I've had seem to have much in common. It does show how extensive the mind is and to think a lot of people never get that glimpse until death. I think the reductionist view that an NDE is "tricks of a dying brain" is old and outdated, especially with all the common experiences from so many people. Nature is doing something interesting here, and to outright dismiss it would be very closed minded. And anyone that outright dismisses it should take a sacrament like ayahuasca a few times and then report back! All the words in the world don't teach, only experience. And these psychedelic substances are experiences.
Nick, very nicely said and very much on point. I had an experience at age 18 that I would consider highly spiritual (not as fierce as Ayahuasca but certainly I had doors of perception thrown wide open and experienced a oneness with those I was with as well as everything else in a small log cabin on Laurel Canyon. The life that plants and trees, ahh, everything, took on was vibrant, and light filled. The magical mystery tour was on.

I did Ayahuasca last year and although it has been an incredible journey since and I have felt and feel exactly how you mention in your video 'alive', 'grateful', and although I know it is a gift, sometimes i feel like it's just too much to handle, like I'm somehow TOO conscious of being alive? I have had a panic attack after because being alive was just too overwhelming, just too incredible, but also too scary because I somehow connect with something I don't understand... Is there anything you can recommend? While I was under the influence of Ayahuasca in Peru, I remember asking 'her' to please not take me any deeper when I was feeling as if I was getting deeper and deeper into 'blackness', maybe I didn't allow for her to reveal everything I needed to see? Anyway, thank you again for sharing!
I loved his story. I like him and hope to read his book. Each near death experience is slightly different and unique. I had a NDE as well. I enjoy the remembering and experiencing that experience. Thank you Jeremy!
I have had both as well. A NDE is a higher experience, perfect calm, and peace. Ayahausca has the kaleidoscope of colors and doesn't have the truth value that the NDE had. I have tried and tried with Ayahausca but I can never even come close to what I experienced with my NDE. (Both are special and I would not dissuade anyone from trying Ayahausca)
Workdove Ayahuasca affects differently the people. The shamans for example have much deeper experiences, than we can have... Just go and ask them :) Or approach Ayahuasca in shamanic way. I mean no helpers. No, man... The shamans had their education with Ayahuasca in isolation. Doing hard diet, no talking, no distractions.. .for weeks, for months. Only praying, fasting and huge, HUGE doses of Ayahuasca - that is how you become a shaman. That is why it is said that you don't choose to become a shaman, you are called for this. Because nobody can endure such a thing if he is not 100% sure about what he is doing... you move through hell, through your own death and maddness... many, many times. When you drink with shaman, he can navigate the journey with his icaros. The real Ayahuasca experience is when you let the Spirit navigate your journey. When you are alone. :)
What a character. I did wonder about his dramatic ways, but since he is a Hollywood luminary, it made more sense. I also thought of how dark that system is. Not sure how he'd fit into that? Well, I was born open. So those hallucinations, visions, journeys, and psychedelic effects in the waking state, I grew up with. Any substance vastly enhances this, so I do not use them. My senses become far too overwhelmed. Everything is telepathic to me. I recall hearing wild flora talking to me, telling me their medicinal uses. So cool. Yes, trial & error was not the best strategy! I grew up in a big city (San Francisco), so my opportunites to commune with nature were infrequent. I did live for seven years in Sedona, Arizona, USA, where I spent most of my time outdoors. It was wonderful. BTW, I ascribe my gifts to being a quarter Native American. I have come to very similar experiences and 'gnostic' knowledge through heavy mushroom work combined with some yoga/zen/reflection So many people are coming out with the message these days. Very nice :)
5 hours fasting is enough. Don''t eat heavy meat/pork that day after lunch. Also, you don't need to do in in Peru. Doing it in American indigenous contexts are just as good - also under the night sky with river rapids by a fire is ideal. Set and setting!
There is much consternation between those who believe in Christ the Savior and those who believe in a source God. I have wondered about them both throughout my life and i personally have had two conventional and uneventful OBE's because i did not travel far from my body both times, and one very enlightened one where i seen Jesus in Heaven and watch awe on the faces of others who had done the same. My question is why do children report these NDE's or OBE"s the same as adults? and even the littlest ones claiming to have had a previous life? Some say the devil can play make believe because he knows the person will not die just yet, but surely demons arnt given sway over the souls of the children who have OBE"s to confuse them? should they be protected from that? yet there are unmistakable similarities with every one of these experiences from children to the very old so what does this commonality mean?
If your burdens are heavy it's your own decisions that put you where you are..Your only distressed because your stuck in their consequence and can't go back.. Living righteous has it's burdens also. The things we must sacrifice and fight for takes lots of energy and will power.. Absolutely no one will escape pain and suffering here. The worst being having to live with permanent consequences of bad decisions.. A foreshadowing of Hell.. You can't say you weren't warned.
My question is: has your experience with ayuaska convince you that NDE's are also happening because of electrochemical activity in the brain? Or do you believe dat OBE's during NDE's are real?

Encouraging and using drugs for enlightenment is incredibly unenlightened. Many people have ended up in mental institutions or long term mental problems. I have known many people and worked with many people who went down that crazy path
Hell is an illusion? Sounds like you are an expert. Perhaps your experience is important but just your experience and not necessarily the ultimate truth. 🤔

An illusion that happens when people are pronounced dead? Where people are often given information from the past they couldn't know about or of future events they couldn't know about? An illusion of recalling the whole surgery including all visuals which happened? And illusion knowing word for word full conversations which happens at the end of the hall, at home or even in other state. The only illusion here is the one you've created not studying the research and being led purely by your own idea of how everything works. You're not nearly as clever as you give yourself credit for. You're jumping to conclusions of which you could understand.

Chosen One they are not “astral projections” which is a blanket term for more than one event. How I know would take some time to explain, and my suggestion, from my original comment is that calling an NDE an astral projection means you have probably never had one, or have put it in a box. I’m requesting that you allow it to be more than what you decided it is.

Mike Ryan There is nothing wrong with someone doing both; telling their experience and selling a book. Free enterprise is not a bad thing and we all need a pay check/money in order to live in our societies (for the most part). In addition, it might, very well, be a book that a lot of humanity should read in order to open up their minds to things they may never have experienced nor heard of. You didn't die. You didn't cross the veil. Your silver cord was not severed. It's obvious that the devil has pulled the wool over your eyes. Satan masquerades as an angel of light yet his kingdom is the kingdom of darkness. The next time you die (permanently) you will come before the creator and you will be judged and sent straight to hell unless you accept his plan of salvation before you take your last breath. Your sins will send you straight to hell. Right now you have a choice. You can accept what Jesus did for you 2000 years ago and subsequently your sins will be forgiven or you can pay for your sins yourself in hell for eternity. There is no other way. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. Nobody comes unto the father except through him. Ayahuasca will not save you, kundalini will not save you, your Sharman will not save you, native Americans will not save you. You can't earn or work your way into heaven. Jesus is your only ticket off this planet. So heaven or hell? You choose, but once you take your last breath it's game over.
Your only correct response is that he did not die, none of the NDE'ERS actually died because you are correct the silver cord was not broken and what they find once that cord is broken is not exactly what they see in their nde. The rest of your statements, in my opinion and experience, are not what I believe in, it's the dogma of the church talking for the sake of control.
@@simonsammut9289 to put the fear of God in people, that if they don't believe in what the church is teaching they will go to hell and, that there's only one way to get to heaven and that is by believing in Jesus, or more specifically vicarious atonement. I believe in Jesus and I believe what he came here to teach but the church's "dogma" is very different. Just like centuries ago removing reincarnation from the Bible-that was for "control" because they figured if people thought they got another chance they wouldn't behave themselves in that particular lifetime and follow the rules of the institution.
Tragic, he's illuminated with the truth and turns it into a delusion! When he dies he see his delusion is hell and heaven, and through Jesus Christ he experienced God's great universe and as well was shown the hell created for Satan and his demons. You are not OK and you need to receive Jesus Christ's salvation offer. Read Jesus' words in the Biblical gospels; while reading see the descriptions of hell that are described, the same hell you saw.
Here we go. Pushing your religious beliefs. I had a near death experience myself and I felt complete love and calmness. There was no Hell or Heaven. Everything was so beautiful. There is nothing to accept. No such thing as you much accept this impartcular God or he will punish you forever. I know now that's no loving God has plans to put you in a place of torture because you didn't obey him. There are NDE where people claim to have seen Jesus. Why not go there and here what you already believe. For me,there is only love and peace for everyone when they die and that's it.
