Dos cosas a tener en cuenta Enrique: 1. Swimming, en esta caso actua como sujeto de la oración, aunque termina en ING, NO se puede afirmar que la oración esta PRESENTE CONTINUO. 2. El Verbo principal es el Verbo TO BE en su forma IS, entonces podríamos decir que la oración esta en PRESENTE SIMPLE en su forma IMPERATIVA. ALLOWED en este caso NO indica PASADO, Sólo hace parte del complemento. Te invitó a ver las clases sobre PRESENTE SIMPLE, IMPERATIVO, GERUNDIOS y PRESENTE CONTINUO te ayudará a despejar tus dudas. 🙌

Hola, gracias por comentar. El present simple se utiliza para hablar de eventos programados en el futuro próximo. Ejemplos: The work party is tonight The plane leaves in an hour She has English lesson tomorrow morning. The shop closes at 20pm. I have a Maths exam Wednesday afternoon. El present continuous se usa para hablar de planes en el futuro, es decir, actividades que ya están planeadas. Ejemplos: I’m meeting my friends to do yoga. I’m having lunch with my family tonight. John is not leaving until next week. Are we having a meeting on Monday? Did I tell you that my mom is visiting us for a couple months? Fuerte abrazo 🙌

Recuerda que esa regla tiene algunas excepciones😊 Además aplica en su mayoría para verbos de una sola sílaba. Gracias por comentar 🎉
