What happens if you use the Magazine without the pin that hold's it in place? The one concern that I have using the Crossbow, in any real world application, is that it takes way too long to strip the Magazine down to change it over to a fresh Magazine if needed.
I brought a knock off buy mistake I thought I was buying a upgraded steambow this happened by a man that advertises steambow and I'm still trying to get my money back u should know him he's Celticcrossbows Wales England and is called mark
Sorry, but you had should tell customers with this version I of the metal magasin that you need special edition limb blocks, that it's far more difficult to (re)load the magazine with the speed loaders (they stuck due to the finish inside the magasin) and that it is impossible to put al the features on the picatinny rails at the same time. And, a red dot can't be placed on the picatinny rail without uprising the rail...it's too low and has an conflict with the front sight and opening the magazine. I'm very disappointed in the magazine and i don't like the idea to buy special edition limb blocks, because they can't be used in combination with the polymer magazine. Another solution for keeping the normal limb blocks in combination with the version 1 version of the metal magazin as read in the FAQ, is to screw it tight with the screw you use for the survival. But in another FAQ they write that's not recommended to screw it...huh?
Hello Marcel, you are right, with some combinations the space between the red dot and the front sight is very small. To get more space at the same time for the Picatinny rails for accessories and sights, we have damping plates in our shop. So you win enough space and the vibrations on the sight are softened. steambow.at/en/products/ar-6-stinger-ii-picatinny-damping-for-metal-magazine To be able to use the conventional blocks, if the metal magazine does not yet have the contour shown with the Special Edition blocks on our product page, the thumb screw of the Survival is an easy way to hold the block in the lower position and you save yourself different blocks. In general, the screw should not be used, your described case is an exception. If you have further questions, please contact our support.
But with the thumb screw you can barely flip the magazine to the front to change the limb block. The magazine touches the screw before its tilt to 90°. Calling the early versions of the magazine back would be a fair solution for your customers.
