This is a beautiful box of George Harrison. I want to thank you for showing this. I will never own this, but I love George Harrison and his music and I can see why this set cost what it does. It really is quite special and lovely to see. I'm really glad you have it in your collection.

"The Art of Dying" I preordered the deluxe vinyl and deluxe cd sets but I may have to reconsider. It's beautiful. The crate would be a great storage place for my ashes after I pass.
I agree 100%. I would rather spend a lot of money for a few special items, than have 10 different versions of McCartney III. I also bought I Me Mine when it came out. I got it for the pre publication price of $180. The published price was $355. I can’t wait to get my Uber box. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah I was a junior in high school with no job. I still have the pre- order form for I Me Mine for $180.00. I could have bought it if I blew my life savings from the bank and gave up buying records for the foreseeable future. I decided not to buy it ..but sure wish I had.

Hi Norman- I loved your posting it was just a fab video- much appreciated - huge thanks- I am not a big fan of unboxings but this was very every special and I totally agree with you that this is an amazing piece of art for many reasons. After viewing your video I think that the full asking price is very reasonable and considering all the talented people involved fans are very lucky to get an opportunity to purchase it. I am sure it will sell out quickly but it needs a good size home to appreciate all of the beautiful extras enclosed in the box! My favorite object was without doubt the Gardener and his gnomes and would buy this set just them if i had the space. I have pre-ordered the super deluxe Japanese set which I will enjoy but am very envious of this gorgeous piece of art- Thank you again Norman and i will start checking out your channel from now- greetings from the land of the sushi!❤️❤️

I always though those silicon packets were chiclets, good to know I should not be eating them. The packaging also makes a great coffee table. Very impressive. Gene Simmons is jealous.
Excellent Mazzy! After watching your presentation my opinion has changed on this, completely! As you say, it’s art. The attention to detail is absolutely beautiful and the things I sort of bemoaned; “the gnomes” and “the bookmark” are stunning. It’s archival and it’s a great looking piece for your amazing collection. The book is really fantastic. This is such a well crafted piece.

Thank you for a great opportunity to view the Uber ATMP Box!…Your respect for GH, his music and for his family is quite evident, and the beauty of the contents are very impressive. I had the original vinyl set back in 1970, as a Beatle-obsessed teenager…and I also like the original Spector production, I feel it suits it rather well. I also bought the 25th Anniversary edition when that came out and hopefully, someday, I may have the chance to own this latest 50th version. This is the most amazing box set for an album I’ve ever seen. Artistically exquisite. With Gnomes and 3D George. Wow! I wish for something of this quality to be done for Pink Floyd’s Ummagumma album. And Piper At The Gates of Dawn. All stops out with objects as well. I think this box was totally worth the money.
I love how Olivia and Dhani are handling George’s legacy , with these amazing book and vinyl and cd releases. I even know some fans are “pissed off” because they think it’s all about the $$$$. but in my opinion it’s their way of sharing the genius of his music with us the fans and even those that worked with him personally. 🙂🕉
100 years from now people people will say “who? The Kardashians? Who cares.“. But people will still be talking about the insurmountable influence that The Beatles continue to have on music. That is a gorgeous box set. Thanks for sharing it with us
Nice video, enjoyed it. A couple of years ago, when I was addicted to box sets I might have considered it, but not now. But I’m glad you went for it and I’m also glad you’re so pleased with it and that you shared it with us. Re your Beatles trip to England, never made it to Liverpool when I was living in Europe, but now that I’m living in India, I hope to visit Rishikesh when travel restrictions are lifted.

I think it’s fun that we can go beyond an artist’s record and create a beautiful package of art and insight. The drummer and lyricist Neil Peart from the band Rush has written a few books relating to travel by motorcycle and his life experience as a musician. The last recorded album by Rush was called Clockwork Angels which was a concept based on a steampunk fantasy. But he complemented us with two story books that outlined the songs from the album. The stories were co-written with Kevin J Anderson, they created the steampunk adventures of two people venturing out of the comfortable lives in a futuristic backdrop. Anyways it’s just great when we see artists go beyond their music. We as fans lap this all up. Take care

For this $1000, Uber Deluxe, Box set Wood crate edition they should have included George's book "I, Me, Mine"; seems like it would have been altogether appropriate. Also, might be nice to purchase the Uber set items à la carte, like the figurines, etc.

Thanks Mazzy for making this video. I was one of those who bemoaned the release and price of the Uber box. The promotional blurbs don't do it justice. It's a stunning piece of work to be sure. The pewter gnomes are bigger than I expected. The whole presentation is to die for. Unfortunately it's way out of my price league and I equate that to a lottery win purchase. I'd love to have it and I could even find a place for it in my Comusic room. I'll have to be content with the slightly overpriced CD boxed set, but when the price reduces somewhat. I bought the George LP collection box last year so I think I'll hold off on the vinyl version. Cheers mate. Thanks again.

I have your book, The Beatles' England from 1982! It was a cherished Christmas gift to me when I was a teenager and consumed with becoming a Beatles fan! I still have the book and look through it often. The photographs are wonderful. So fun to find you here today and discover the connection! Nicely done. My first Genesis book was George Harrison's Songs Volume 1. They actually printed the I, Me, Mine book in at least four separate covers from brown, to chestnut to green, to black. I now have more than 50 of their titles in my collection. All are great. Favorite of my Genesis collection is the signed Vormann "Revolver" print that he did on mixed media for Genisis for the 50th anniversary of the album, with each of the 250 being slightly different. Look forward to your Genesis book presentation. Glad I have this fabulous Uber box on order!
More than four separate covers for I Me Mine. I like going to eBay periodically to see more colors. They pop up. Red looks good. There's a blue. MIne's even different. We probably have the same titles in our collections.
Thanks so much for that Mazzy. Looks absolutely beautiful and crafted. For all the naysayers out there, and a caveat here - I am no expert in the world of publishing though I am an avid an collector of high quality books, looking at that degree of thoughtful quality I would expect the bottom line in profit for Harrisons to be low or even non-existent. That box was clearly produced with love. They might make some money from me - I pre-ordered the more modest 3 CD set, and I do not begrudge them one jot. Realistically I don't think many of boxes like yours will make it down to New Zealand anyway. This will be my third edition of this wonderful album. Like you, I wonder about the "remix" aspect, as like you I grew up with that original Spector mix. I do recall reading that later in his life, George had some reservations about the mix but clearly enough people, like you and I, were happy enough at the time that we purchased it in its millions 50 years ago. I love Specter's wall of sound productions, but I've always wanted this album cleaned up. You just can't hear the individual instruments, and it all sounds crammed together. Will be interesting to hear Dhani's remix.

My favorite as well. I remember when it was first coming out in 1970, many of us “George” fans were concerned. After the Beatles broke up, we knew that John and Paul would do well, but we didn’t know about George. Well, this album put any doubt to rest and 50+ years later it’s still the favorite for many of us.
