Great work. You'll have done a great job with this series. Ileave 20miles from Guilford Court House. Been years since I been over there. This tells me it time to go back.

Thank you for the information and the work you, the volunteers and rangers do in preserving these acres, be it Guilford or Gettysburg. Some of them are immaculate and the visual presentations are just on another level to other countries. No one respects and presents history better. Your guides are so knowledgeable and imbued with the social and political history, it's a real treat to see your films. Wish they managed our battle-sites with a fraction of the skill and verve you people have. A lot of history is a whistle-stop here and most of our battles not even mentioned in general schooling and if you go, apart from one or two, you may have a plaque and that's it. Never heard of Guilford, so much appreciated. Don't remember being taught about the Boston Tea Party, Bunker Hill, Lexington or Yorktown though we were involved. Just not usually mentioned, or the 1812 War. They skip most of our own history just mentioning just a few key episodes. Had the privilege of visiting the USA for your Bi-Centintennial in '76 and visiting Fort Ticonderoga, West Point, Valley Forge and the Carpenter's Hall in Philadelphia. Missed Gettysburg and Antietam. We had to pay the USA I think $8 billion in reparations for helping the South. CSS Florida and CSS Alambama were built in Birkenhead and what started at Fort Sumpter finished not at Appomattox but in Liverpool across the river from Birkenhead when the CSS Shenandoah lowered the Confederate flag for the last time.
