Love this interior scheme, the comfy bench seats, the style of the low floor Pointer 1 and the sounds the 6BT makes paired with a beautiful whistling AT545 - something I could never tire of hearing 👌 So good to see one of these early LDPs saved! I hope I can sample it later this year!

Well this is a blast from the past, but not as far back as you may think. Two of these Go-Ahead London Darts, P737 RYL & R464 LGH were refurbished and transferred down to Go South Coast in 2011 and were initially used with Bluestar, before being transferred to Damory in 2013 (to replace two former Brighton & Hove Darts, N208 & N211 NNJ which had been written off in a head-on collision on the bus route I lived on apparently - which went through some narrow country lanes). P737 RYL (fleet no. 3237) was primarily based at the Dorchester depot and R464 LGH (fleet no. 3264) was primarily based at the Henstridge depot (now closed - since 2017) Two other, ex Brighton Darts, N205 (3205) & N213 NNJ (3213) were also in service with Damory as well. All four of these Mk1 SLFs were used on the route I lived on, between 2013 - 2015. Though of course, sadly, they all had to be withdrawn from public service in November / December 2015, due to the new DDA compliance that came in. N205 NNJ has gone into preservation since 2016, N213 NNJ has become a motor-home, R464 LGH was bought by Red Routemaster and used on rail replacement services, but P737 RYL didn't seem to have been acquired by anyone, so it may have sadly met its fate, which is a real shame, as it was a nice motor.

R445 LGH was in use with Red Rose until around February 2018. I managed to catch it in its final few weeks on the 23 to Wolverton - quite unusual how it was converted to DDA!
