More than twenty-five years ago, a family of artists, Volodymyr Bakhtov and Tetyana Bakhtova, moved from Luhansk to the village of Parutyne, near Olbia - a national historic archaeological preserve of an ancient Greek settlement. In their own backyard, they decided to recreate the lifestyle of the Mediterranean people. The Bakhtov family renamed the street where they settled to Herodotus Street and they also drew attention to Olbia with their own performances.
