Damn, the wolves and moonlight are amazing finds! It's always cool to see established producers using the same vsts and presets as everyone else, since they have a lot more resources at hand, you'd expect them to just use session musicians and elaborate sound design. Definitely inspires you to push yourself more even if you're a bedroom producer.
You actually thaught us that you can make anything sound glidey with the pitch bends. Thanks man! Gonna use that a lot now for my melodies. This some real sauce for real 🙏🏽🔥
niche ahh i see, i quite understand now how plugins work after watching some tutorials on how to use it, and it’s unfortunate that omnishphere is quite pricey even thou its a good plugins.. anw thanks for your answer much appreciated
Technically they did. The Wolves sample is a loop that they found on looperman, you can look it up....on looperman the loop is called "narcos type guitar - pablo escobar - m4hhe samples"
@@prodbyquick vampnite yk damn well that its not still night in flex now im on an alt and i still managed to find you bruh, is this how u found the gummo preset? from navs song
In ‘87, Huey released this; Fore! Their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is “Hip To Be Square”. A song so catchy, most people probably don’t listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it’s not just about the pleasures of conformity and the importance of trends. It’s also a personal statement about the band itself. HEY PAUL!
Hi Paul, absolutely loved the two videos you did on this topic! this is exactly what i've been looking for online.. I have a question for you from a newbie trying to learn; when you're trying to recreate a melody from a song, or even just wondering what notes are used in it, how do you find out?? I imagine after some time, you can probably tell by ear, but as a beginner it's really hard to distinguish particular notes (even if the majority of them stay within a key). Thanks for all your insight and love the channel!
one of the best producer series on youtube, keep it up man. Could you do No Heart by 21 Savage, I've always wondered which VST was used for the main melody
astrothunder intro guitar can be made from Massive X, the whistle can be made from Retro Synth in Logic Pro X, John mayer's guitar can be made by u-he Repro, and the ending guitars can be made with Repro 1.
People like Kanye and Travis don’t usually use VST plugins all that much, Mike Dean works with both of them and he uses physical analog keyboards. So in R.I.P Screw a real Korg would have been used and in Wolves it was either recreated on a keyboard or re done with Sia’s vocals
