President Joe Biden's Secret Service & motorcade travel to London Stansted for collection by plane, before the helicopter that was used as 'Marine One' departs. Two C-17 Globemasters try to land too close together at RAF Northolt, prompting a go around while traffic was held by police. They came to collect the VH-3D Sea King helicopters.
The motorcade seen here was one of two delivered, this one merely being a standby for Marine One. The Chevrolet Suburbans are fitted out as Presidential cars, with a close protection vehicle and a Hazardous Materials truck following. Two communication vehicles were not present and neither was the complete entourage seen here: • Joe Biden heads to Dow... .
The callsign 'Marine One' is only used by the US Marine Corps when the US President is on board, and is usually a VH-3D Sea King seen here or a VH-60 White Hawk. His entourage rode in three US Army CH-47 Chinooks with escort by a Eurocopter EC-145 of the National Police Air Service.

Rather than dragging all that hardware around the world for security and advertising that this is the Presidential motorcade. They could land Air Force One then give him to keys to a Corsa so he could drive himself, take the scenic routes, sit in traffic on the M25, go to the drive through. No bugger would know it was him. Surely that's safer than this... essentially big flashing arrow pointing him out wherever he goes. Secret service could have something with a little more poke obviously 🫢 Mondeo perhaps.

Enjoy these videos they're very well done! I've often wondered what percentage of the Tahoe and Suburban Fleet the government owns. Also noticed that when it comes to heavy duty trucks they go to the Super Duties. Guess the heavy Chevys can't cut it. Although, nothing looks prettier than the presidential Cadillac Limousines. Great Style!
