@@lesmach6495 YES!! THE dump is a hundred times worse than Clinton !! Clinton did some stuff, but , He was a good President !! They all have dione some questionable things, but most don't get caught !!
Guys like Clinton, Christie and Reagan love and loved politics. They are and were comfortable in their positions - they relish being in the center of the storm, good leaders, like them or not. Obama has never looked this way, almost in pain doing the job, leading from behind.
@@flyeaglesfly76ers81 Obama was too principled to be POTUS and I think that sobering realization depressed him deeply. I didn't vote for Obama either time but I respected him for being a highly intelligent man, who tried to do a lot of things that would've been good. His failures mostly fall on the shoulders of others.
@@ryancalhoun2910 I guess I would agree with that.. I do think Obama underutilized his messaging ability in times when hard decisions were needed.. I think the banking bailouts we’re proof that he leaned more to the status quo than the daring statesman.. I think I like him more for his representative qualities than his politics, especially on foreign policy and even healthcare, which was supposed to be his big win
Two of my favorite modern era politicians. Crazy considering how much they differ ideologically. But I’d argue both are great because of their common sense, down to earth approaches yet uncanny wit. Any pedantic differences have only been shaped due to the various political allegiances each established through their lifetime. Both of them would agree with me.
Christie blanes everybody but himself and still has yet to help regular people of the Garden State...His lust for the White House trumps the real needs NJ...The Shore is still a mess
I do not know what you mean by the shore is a mess. I live here and i think the progress compared to New Orleans and other disaster places is astonishing on how fast we rebuilt. And if it helps your answer i am a Democrat.
Yes, having gone down the shore the past 2 summers to help I can tell you that there is still a shit ton of damage. I can also tell you that rebuilding houses takes a little thing I like to call time. There's still a ton of work to do, but a lot of work has gotten done.
analyze them and make reasoned coclusions. My sources: PBS, Pennsylvania, Ameerican Experiennce, The Presidents, "The last President to Balance The Budget." Also, CNN, Politics, Political Ticker, CNN Fact Check 2-3-10. When you produce facts be prepared to give their sources
This is an awesome forum. I hope this is the beginning of a new dialog in this country where we may differ on policy, but we come together to solve big problems. I highly respect both of these men, and I hope we continue to support leaders like this in our future.
Listen those 2 differents politician make me happy to see 2differents politician have a conversation different view and stile have a conversation im happy to see that plus Bill was a good person and President 🌹
I'm a Conservative living in Ottawa, Canada and I'm sorry to my American republican brothers -- Christie is a classic Conservative. Look at his record. This guy took on the unions. He has reformed entitlements. Entitlements. That should be enough for any person to call themselves a Conservative. And, added to all of that, he has demonstrated an ability to get elected in historically democratic regions of the country. Stop calling him a democrat. We don't do this in Canada, but American elections are usually broken down into racial voting blocs so I'll break it down -- this guy can win the: Hispanic vote; large sections of the black vote; and, every white person out there. He's the only guy who can beat Hilary Clinton.
Bill Clinton wasn't the worst president, but wasn't the best. Christie worked in the Bush administration for 8 years and has been president of the republican governor association for 5 years, but for 5 years he has governed New Jersey like a liberal democrat and I'm hoping if he runs for president he doesn't win the republican nomination.
Bill Clinton was a third way democrat. He was a moderate not a liberal and the 90's wasn't that long ago, so why do republicans have to become liberal in order to win a presidential election. A candidate always moves to the right never to the left.
Bill has that combination of extremely high intelligence and completely down to earth southern charm. Politics aside, he’s a once in a lifetime human being. It’s incredible.
I didn't know Governor Christie was that involved with New Jersey re-build projects. I'm a Democrat, but I can follow Christie.. because he speaks in a way most Americans should accept.
when the shit hit the fan, gov christie could care less about who's a rep or a dem. he did what needed to be done for his state. a real quality human being.
Your forgetting that he decided to punish the democrat mayor of Fort Lee by closing the commuter lanes off the George Washington Bridge. He punished everyone of any party.
Study Shows Brady Bill Had No Impact on Gun Homicides Philip Cook The Brady Bill, the most important piece of federal gun control legislation in recent decades, has had no statistically discernible effect on reducing gun deaths, according to a study by Philip J. Cook, a Duke University professor
Well, they had to work through real life issues. That takes a tremendous amount of work.. to contact every government agency and have these decisions effect small communities and neighborhoods. Sounds like something that you would never be able to accomplish.
