A good leader walks behind his flock. And since most South Africans today do not think but still behave like a unruly flock, their leader needs to set his dogs out to control the unruly flock! Ramaphosa is not a politician but a very accomplished businessman. He is the best president since Mandela, who was a lawyer and not a trained politician either.
@@mariajensen8990 I agree. He's under a lot of strain. They're trying to back him into a corner. By they I mean the ANC. They're doing this deliberately to get him out of office and get someone corrupt it, but God Cannot be Mocked. Those who believe in Him will be victorious. We need to pray.
... and change the way democracy is implimented, I am tired of political parties treating us citizens as children. Coming to us and tell us what we want. Why not as citizens come together and tell the politicians what we want in our country. Let them tell us how each party will implement our demends. Every President comes up with useless project that do not develop this country, RDP, when Mandela was gone , Mbeki threw it in the bin and brought GEAR, Zuma threw this too in the bin and brought NDP, then this one is bringing New Deal and yet no tangible change nd development is happening, instead we see and hear of corruption. Billions and billions got lost in Ramaphosa’s term and people claim that he is a better President. No jobs, no progressive education, borders are opened, corruption is rife. A Dr, who is a Minister of Health is involved in the Digital Vibes when Ramaphosa campaigned in the name of getting rid of corruption. we are here we are, because of the ANC factional battles that they even use our courts to fight with. Today we have this country down more than ever SHOW ME ANY INDUSTRY BUILT BY THE ANC AND I WILL SHOW YOU GREAT BUSINESSES THAT WERE AND ARE DESTROYED BY THE ANC.
@UCI7DI4Kz48WJ-zhNsWzpjvg that might see like a good thing. But with nearly every example from anywhere in history, foreign occupation rarely leads to good outcomes. And though some soldiers may have good intentions, governments do not. It's something that seems good in theory, an allied country swoops in, lends aid, and leaves. But most of the time in practice, they don't leave, and cause the rise of rebellions, create internal strife, and take control. And many times the country is left broken, or very different from the one that was. And in other cases, it could develope into a dependence on the occupied country, or in other, very prominent case, loss of resources to pay owed service. Foreign aid has a cost. And most of the time, that cost far outweighs the acquisition. But don't take my word for it. I'm just some person with a keyboard. Do your own research.
Lmao thank god I'm not the only one. I zone out within minutes of listening to Ramaposa speak. He speaks super slowly and he always has more filler (Some variation of "We have stood fast against the pandemic" in every fucking speech. Platitudes abound) than actual content.
You’re not wrong... but I think Ramaposa in this interview spoke more professionally and with more dignity than most politicians I’ve heard in South Africa have. He also had the balls to arrest Zuma and end the status quo with Zuma, whom by that point had pretty much all but in name had too many anomalies around him. And I’m not saying this is some happy-go-lucky liberal American, i’m saying this as a die-hard conservative American that thinks everyone should have a 50 caliber in their backyard on very deep and distrustful philosophical grounds of the government in the same way the founders had envisioned. Still I hope the economic right wing takes control over from the ANC... but nicest speech I’ve seen in a while.
weak, wet blanket, says nothing as usual.....while we watch people looting shopping malls, shops, factories.... right here on our road, looters stealing tvs and more from trucks and logistics centers.... and he sits there ... no stands there making out that it's a small act of violence.... it's disgusting behavior. and they worried about vaccines..... give mine to these looters. what we lost and hung onto during covid lockdowns is now gone..... staff we kept on, we now have to let go. food parcels we made to help those that the stupid twits couldn't be bothered to helpbecause they were too busy stealing the money themselves, now no longer. next will be higher food prices, more tax and public violence..... while he pretends we can all play global sanitize games..... wake up.... you're all being played..... bit by bit..... how will people get food when all the shops are closed..... there are no cops here..... no army. ...... people are not going to stop.....
I am so thankful for Cyril and how he is handling all of the unrest that is going on - both in our country and the world. God bless you Cyril. I pray for the Lord's guidance over you and for all those having to make tough decisions at this time.
Yes they sellouts and thieves. They stay rich by keeping their brothers and sisters poor . They can then through third parties incite mob riot mentality . Poza opening his mouth is like a puppet show
Isn't God omnipotent? You can pray ANYWHERE! Why must churches or any place that has large gatherings open now, when the virus is spreading like wildfire. You OBVIOUSLY have not lost loved ones to COVID-19 😔
Agreed! If bars and restaurants can open ( even if it is 50% capacity), then political and religious gatherings should be allowed too. But hey, we're not slaves to man. We submit to God alone. Do what God orders you to do. Not these devils roaming the earth disguising themselves as politicians.
God will not do anything for us that we will not be willing to do for ourselves. God gave us the means of fixing our problems. If we do not do our part, we are slapping God in the face by telling Him that he didn't make us good enough.
I love my country and support my president. As South Africans 🇿🇦 we must unite. Only us, as a society can change things for the better. I love all of you guys 🇿🇦.
@@seetsamolapo5600 Step 1: You need to apply for a competency Cert by the SAPS. In order to do that you need to complete a proficiency test first. Any local gun shop will help you get this. The proficiency consists of a) completing a basic legal written test ie your understanding of the law which they teach you. b) the actual shooting at the end of the test (Shooting and A3 page @100% pass). Once you have your proficiency certificate from the gun store you can apply for your competency certificate at your local SAPS DFO (Designated firearms office). Just check beforehand what their document requirements are before you start the formal application. Then you wait between 3 and 6 months under normal circumstances. you will receive and SMS for the CFR (Central firearms office) that your competency cert is approved. Step 2) Once you have your cert you can apply for your firearms license. For this application you need to buy your firearm, a SABS safe, provide testimony from witnesses etc. Again before the application ask the DFO what documents you need to submit so you can prepare accordingly. When you buy you firearm the gun shop will hold it and only release it to you once you have your license card from the SAPS. Its quite a lot of paperwork but nothing provides you with a better feeling that for you to be able to protect yourself and your family. Be responsible and support the gun community. Im in Josi so I used dave sheer guns. I have a section 13 license ie self defense license.
No we are not fine. We have lost direct family members in covid , do funeral burials, and now must fight for our other family and personal properties! This country has gone to shit!!
We good man...just said that people are being opportunists....they not protesting for Zuma....they just want to loot businesses...for personal gain. Same as Zuma i guess🤦
He's sitting safely at home while we are suffering , too afraid to sleep. It's easy to say stay calm but how do you stay calm when you just lost your livelihood and can constantly hear gunfire and screaming. Our mental health is going to shit , good job Mr president. Take care fellow south Africans ❤
I've had an on and off headache for so long because of this. I fear for my life, my mom and my gran but it's not like anyone will do anything for us. Be safe
I agree, we must pray but we have to act as well. The government (read anc) is taking us for fools. They are the cause of all of this. Why are the those politicians and business people responsible for corruption not arrested. They are the reason why our country is in thus sorry state.
Cyril In case you forget you are the president, and full responsibility rest with you.when will you change you incompetent cabinet. Or are you nervous or just incompetent.
This is sad because what is going on here is bigger than we can imagine..it looks like ramaphosa's enemies are at work and people are been used and real criminals are hiding their faces
Ramaphosa enemies 🤔 So you think all this looting is because of Zuma 😜 you have to wake up then 🤷♀️ 1. People are hungry & they're tired of long lines b4 entering shops 2. Ramaphosa started this by detaining Zuma, instead of arresting him for his crimes 🤷♀️ & he has to manup & release Zuma.
@@nokwandashongwe1717 you are so dumb. So if they are tired of long lines they have to rob stores? Burn peoples trucks? That's businesses closing down, meaning someone mother or father is gonna lose a job, Then more people will be hungry. How can you be so stupid?! And also release Zuma? The law is taking it's course, just like it does with everyone else around the world, he's not special. He brought this onto himself, our businesses had nothing to do with his crimes.
@@nicholengubane4907 telling a person who has not been working for years and does not have any source of income that they are going to loose their jobs or they will suffer is stupid. They are already suffering. This actions are unacceptable and just morally wrong but we need to learn to listen to people's cry for help. We are living in selfish times that if you have, you just lock yourself in your house and eat with your family. We do share with each other anymore. Seriously I wish I can do something to contribute to the lives of those who are genuinely in need. We do not recognize that this is societal problem and we need to help each other so we can all have a better life.
If these commentators watch morning live on 192, early morning you will see, all the thieves what the world sees. Old ladies stealing alchol. No police for 2 hours, so if zuma is releasd, all those thieves are still going to jail. It would-be meant nothing. Only the small mind want that.
God bless president Ramaphosa and the people of South Africa in Jesus name. Let's us pray for the president and all SA's people. Let the Lord's name be praised and enter His gates with thanksgiving. To God be the glory forever and forever. Be blessed all.
If you are still thinking on racial lines, you are part of the problem. You enjoyed the privileges in Apartheid, you kept quiet when the first ANC robbed the country blind. Now " CORONA " is screwing with even YOUR money and you still want to play the " stop blaming Apartheid " card?? If you don't know who the real enemy is by now, you'll probably be eaten by the beast. Good luck.
CR sounds tired. I would be in his position. In fact I don't envy his position in these times at all. All of us are fed up with everything. Not necessary to destroy anything in frustration. I hope the military can stop the violence. We have enough to deal with already. Prayers to CR and his family for strength in these difficult times.
CYril and his ANC are the cause of this with theor collaboration with Klauss Schwab and the GREAT RESET, pity the Rioter s didn't have access to the Parliament and President and place th Violence where it belongs, instead of the middle class as usual who shields these self appointed ELITE politicians who are a law unto themselves. Cyril is a SHAME
Who must pray for him? The church that he closed down? The church have done nothing but comply with the rules and regulations of lock down..... But it is well He is being served what he dished out period
Shame on every politician that mischaracterizes the poor to give an excuse for this looting. What normal person who is without a job will go out and brazenly steal this way knowing they could be denying a relative or a friend their jobs at those malls? Some people who are employed at those malls probably support several households with their income, so if those employees can't return to work for the foreseeable future, then they and those families they do support during this pandemic will not be eating. In my opinion, this looting has a political agenda and I would not be surprised if it is linked to the dysfunction within the ANC because Jesse Duarte certainly had very little to say on behalf of the ANC on their position of the looting when interviewed by the media. I have heard political analysts, the media and university professors speaking out, as well as ordinary citizens on various RU-vid news channels expressing their outrage at these blatant criminal acts, but nothing significant from the ANC political elite. And why is Bheki Cele so silent at this critical time? Why did we have to wait until 8:30pm just to get a vague breakdown of what is going to happen when action needed to be taken before entire places of work were decimated? The horror of watching the looting taking place during a presidential address certainly has further broken down what little trust we do have in the government and our law enforcement. This is a disturbing time in SA.
@@billding6685 Let me guess: You are comfortable looting and tearing down places of employment, and denying people access to hospitals, and also disrupting medical staff getting to their place of work during a pandemic, AND getting people killed in the name of poverty? If you need food, shelter and clothing, and a job, then it would be better if you contemplate using your vote for people who genuinely have your best interests at heart. Next, there are citizens who have very little but who have gone the extra mile to help the destitute during this pandemic and now they WON'T be able to help because the looters have taken their jobs away. Don't be unhappy for those who are doing their best to survive and doing even more to have the essentials you named. Everyone is feeling the crunch in SA. Can't say the same for the political elite. Why not loot their homes and leave the other innocent citizens alone!
@@billding6685 No, STOP justifying this carnage.🙄 When I couldn't get a job that I am qualified for.... because I am again the wrong colour, I DID NOT GO ON THE RAMPAGE and resort to criminality. Mr. President: I hope the violences & protests could ends soon across the South African cities in July of 2021.May the Lord bless South Africa from violences, protests & war in 2021!
We have such a beautiful country and with amazing people. But the few cause unrest and the many suffer. If we all just helped one another and had no malicious intent, this could be the greatest place on Earth. Everyone wants happiness. But if we do not work at it with our commonalities in mind, our division will see it not so.
Cyril has lost control of the party, the country and the gloated cabinet ministers. Where were these well nourished cabinet minister and their deputies and their security personal. Why did they not intervene. Where is our security personal. Cyril where is your labour policy and the scheme to feed the poor old and marginalised. People are starving. What is your plan. Maybe Cyril must go and join Jacob. We know what happened. Why did you not stop it.
The best of men could not control a den of vipers. Corruption is rooted too deep. No country can be run effectively when each of those in power have their own agenda.
Now every shopping complex and mall in SA have to be like Dragon city. Those Chinese don't play around, every securityguard has an AK47, they are fully prepared.
He is very soft and if he keeps acting like this, sooner or later they will dethrone him. I thought he was going to issue a very strong warning to the looters. but no he decided to be smart about everything and this is not the time to try to sound smart. but this is the time to be decisive and be straight forward about action and consequences
He looks totally out of ideas that's if his government had any ideas in the first place. He and his government absolutely knew what will happen and lack of preparation on the security agencies speaks of how this government can't plan for anything. Nothing sensible to hear here.
@@sizwengubane8990 I’m not crazy. Lawless corruption, brutal murder and criminality all because of no real consequences. Bring back the death penalty and people will think twice before starting a crime. Our government, or justice system and policing is a joke. Let’s get serious. There is no government or police just criminals.
Most appreciation for this man. I can't even imagine wearing those shoes. He appears drained. What's shocking though is, regardless of him trying to sort out predecessor/s " mess" the amount of disrespect at times. I salute you POSA🙌
Thank you for this comment, I always echo the same sentiments. That the time he took office is a very challenging one he faces more opposition within his political party than the official oppositions. Covid 19 did not help the situation. He has done a lot of good hence the agenda now to destroy the country they thought things would have fallen apart already We pray for you sir. God's strength and mercy upon you. For the first time we are seeing some form of accountability and law taking its place hence now we see what they are doing within his very own party

Shame Poor President is out of ideas Bethunana, But I think deploying Soldiers was a smart move at this stage. If you deployed them during level 5 lockdown last year for innocent people, what's stopping your force for criminals and opportunist politicians looting left right and center with SAPs. Nkosi Thela uMusa wakho 🙏
Thought that he was announcing that Zuma has been released! He should've done the deployment yesterday 🤦♀️! Police are useless.... Honestly poverty and unemployment is causing this whole thing! I wonder where the 500 billion did to create a better life for people🤔🤔.
R500billion debt will be more with interest payments. We will take many decades to pay this back. How are we paying this back? Selling off our assets or maybe we will offer our citizens as labour for our future Chinese colonists? Perhaps this unrest is part of the plan to accelerate the devaluation of the rand so we can begin the next phase of slavery/socialism of an already down trodden people. Kick us while we are down!
After witnessing all this chaos.... I have come to believe that the world must be de-populated... The population must really be reduced We cannot survive in a world where 90% are consumers and 10% are producers... There is no balance
we need decisive action from you, deploy the army now. We don't want an economics lesson, you think these looters are watching you speak right now? how do you wish to restore calm, by appealing to the looters good nature?

No nico, this is a self-hate and open racism of the masses against any and all who are not themselves! This is not poverty to blame. Open your eyes. No-one can eat a big screen TV and everything they steal.
'we did not know about this" said our president... this just shows that there is a lack of leaders in our country it shows carelessness and lack of responsibility.
To everyone Commenting why doesn't he do something and he is soft.... What do you expect him to do?? Shoot to kill? Never! A full blown war will irrupt!
So confused by these comments, What do people expect him to say ?. He did the best he could in this situation which was to acknowledge those with legitimate grievances whilst making clear the consequences of opportunistic crime . President’s need to be calm - they can’t be emotional /-- that’s for crazy people on social media .
I don't know why your confused? He just danced around the real issue and the cause and said nothing. So ppl will get arrested. Let's say out 1000 ppl 50 get arrested? What difference is that going to make to the thousands of businesses that will get destroyed? Where is the governments intelligent agencies on this? He knew this was going to happen because it was said that it was going to happen. There was a build up and when things snapped 6 days later he only showed up. What leadership is that mate? He did the best he could my ass...
Secondly, can you please tell me where in this 30 min of saying things we already know did he give a clear plan on what they are going to do going forward? Can you tell from this "speech" what it's going to be? WAKE UP!!!!!!!!
I just think if he was more forceful or outwardly enraged then that would make people who are committed to this course of action more ‘dug in’ and feel more justified. - which doesn’t help restore calm . I think a measured response is all that he could do really.
Mr. President: Thanks you so much for your remarkable speech today for the deadly protests to ends soon across the South African cities in July of 2021!
Police outnumbered? They support this destruction and brutality and send the criminals on their merry way to continue this anarchy! We have an immense amount of evidence of that on video now brought in over the past two days where police simply do diddly squat and ZERO ARRESTS of these criminals but just stand by looking!☝🏾☝🏾😡
I have to agree with you, the president hasn't said anything yet... These are not people to plead with but to provide solutions and until here, Ramaphosa has none.
you're deploying them too late, so much damage has been done... its been 3 days of this kak now, 3 days Mr president THREE DAYS you and cele were missing in action.
@Lulu✨ the consequences would've been less damage to infrastructure and a smaller manageable impact on the lives of the people worst affected. We now have people who lost their jobs, their businesses, vehicles, properties. He should be more proactive, the people are pissed at him for not taking this situation serious enough. When he speaks, he doesn't sound confident at all and it really shows in his posture and demeanor when addressing his so-called "family". I don't know how he treats family but if my sister tells me she has a problem, it's not gna take me 3 days to address it. The worst thing that could've happened if he had deployed the army that first night, would've been him being cautious and reassuring his citizens that he has their best interests at heart. He is so far removed from the consequences of his own decisions and its impact on us that it makes him seem ineffective as a president. A good president would be cautious and protective of his people.
What was the government expecting. Brewing uneducated, unskilled youth, subject them to R350 grant and expect different outcomes. SA is excelling in brewing criminals. I still blame the government to put a blind eye on youth unemployment for so long. This country will go up in flames.
Mr Ramaphosa come to Durban and address ur ppl. Easy to be in a safe place n warn ppl wer is da army. Ppl have to defend themselves. I cried when u spoke 8 30 cos u wer safe n we wer scared. We are not eating not sleeping. How long must we suffer. We are praying fr peace n violence is coming to us
Maybe i am wrong, but somehow i think there was a message in there to tell the protesters to carry on. "People allowed to protest as it is constitutional" coded message hidden in plain site
I'm ,so glad that in such chaos only a few have lost thier lives directly ,I'm sorry things in south Africa have become like this ,thank you President Ramaphosa.
