On July 13, 2024 An Assassination Attempt on the 45th president Donald J. Trump left two people killed and two in critical condition after the shooting at the campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The 20-year-old Shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, who the FBI said fired several shots in the former US president's direction from a rooftop on a property next to the rally.
Trump was also injured in the incident being shot through the ear and was rushed off the stage by the Secret Service, Trump paused & raised his fist in the air as his supporters chanted "USA, USA!".
Trump rally victim identified as Corey Comperatore, a true who shielded his wife and girls from bullets. Corey 50 years old was a former fire chief for Buffalo Township and volunteer fire service.
