It is so sad to see our president in this condition. Sadly it reminds me of so many great athletes that just hung on way past their prime. So many folks that only remember Michael Jordan’s last years with the Wizards. We watched the great Muhammad Ali continue until he could barely talk. I always wondered why the folks that supposedly loved them, didn’t stop them. Now I watch a man that was an excellent politician for many years, that many young people today will remember him only the way he has appeared in recent years. I’m not now and never have been a supporter of him. However I have had respect for his success in his field. Like you I think of our young men and women in the military. The fact our status in the world is affected. The foreign press even among our allies are laughing at our commander and chief. Why don’t the people who love him ( if he has any) convince this good man to enjoy what’s left of his life? Let him ride into the sunset while he still has some dignity. He’s not gonna get any better in the next 4 years. That’s for certain.
