If only the President of India take a quick ride from kohima to dimapur through road ways, i bet he would do something about it! He will know how badly the citizens are suffering 🤒. His meme VERSION would be like RASTE KAHA HAI! If he ever take a ride from khm-dmp!! Cut this crap "hallelujah" repair the roads!! And talking of tourist my foot!! The carrying capacity of tourist in khm is decreasing every year. Nwy nice video Sir you look good :)

Shame on you naga leaders. Stop organising all those festivals. We better look back our background firstly. Look at the real colour of naga. "Specially the roads at least" Please don't lose the tourism, think about future , try to increas more not to decrease. Good leaders with black hands. Thanks.

The aboriginals and sons of the soil and so called Lepchas conditions in Darjeeling Hills : - If you would like to start narrate the history of the Darjeeling Hills your entrance to story always start with the aboriginal people of the Darjeeling so called Lepchas. Without mentioning the existence of their glorious past no historian can compile their record completely or we can say that Lepcha Tribes are the true legends of the region. We do not need deep anthropological theory to proof their identity before from how long they living here. Simply their phonetic of the language which they speak, their culture, their history, rituals which they follow. Another hands every name of the places like towns, hills, villages, rivers, forests, mountains of the Darjeeling hills are named by their language which are the enough evidence to proof their oldest existence. Once their Fatherland Ney Mayel Lyang was consist of present Sikkim, Darjeeling Hills of West Bengal, Eastern part of Nepal bordering by Arun River, Western part of Bhutanese Kingdom. Here I do not think necessary to mention what happened in this region before British. According to regional history in between 1834-35 British got part of Darjeeling from then Sikkim Raja through Deed of Grant. Which Deed paper also written in a Lepcha language as Lepcha was then official language. History said that during 1834-35 there were 100 ( one hundred ) Lepcha families living in modern Darjeeling Towns. But at the time agreement between Raja of Sikkim and the British concerned only about lands. Raja totally ignored and did not give importance to innocent Lepchas who then were becoming the part of British territory along with their homeland. Consequently British easily suppressed the Lepchas. Their agricultural lands were occupied by British for plantation of the tea. Lepchas were forcibly driven to remote forests. Even in after independent India Government also fail to create any policy to protect Lepchas. In 1950 Government of India closed their chapter by giving ST status to Lepchas and Bhutias but never work for their betterment. Today Lepchas are totally deprived, ignored in their own homeland. They also became minority in their own land.Here one point is to be noted that in 1948 Constituent Assembly of India Vol. VII clearly stated that then total population of Lepchas were 12,000 in Darjeeling Gurkha has consist of 20,000 except kalimpong .And Lepchas considered original inhabitants of the Hills.But today they are not sharing equal political rights. They even denied to take education in their own language. No history of Darjeeling are taught in the West Bengal education system.They are totally ignored in Schools syllabus. Forcibly Lepcha students compulsory need to give Language exam in either, Bengali, Nepali. They do not have any special quota in Governmental services. Mamta led Government of West Bengal has created the West Bengal Mayel Lyang Lepcha Development Board for safeguard of Lepchas. But observers feel that this too are to politicized them only. Whatever may today WBMLLDB at least success to construct 5000 ( Five Thousands ) housess for poor Lepcha famalies. And there are running lots of project running under MLLDB to safeguard their identity. But in fact this small Government add of the State can not fulfill the demand of the Lepchas.If Government works only in paper there is no value of constitution. Today majority of the people in Darjeeling are Nepali. And they too are fighting for their identity in Indian union. So before it too late in this circumstances State Government and the Central Government should take serious action to safeguard the identity of Lepchas, Bhutias, Adivasisis, and other minority living in this region. Specially the Lepchas, Bhotias. Must noted that aboriginal Lepchas are facing serious identity crisis.

Awurabena1 Christianity beauty is measured by money. I am sad you guys didn't manage to up hold your centuries old tradition. I hope you do now not as a religion but as a tradition.

tick tommy you are brainwash by the sources of info u have received as any other mainstream Indian. Before you assume, come and visit NE to learn more about us how we have been evolved and adapted long time back before we are even included in Indian union.
@zlotha9155
@zlotha9155 6 лет назад
tick tommy I think any sane person would outrightly condemned social evil practices by Hindu like untouchable, sati, caste system etc in these modern society. One good things about Brits during colonization!! Modern Indian is evolving n catching up along with the world. The same can be said about NE. In Nagaland, Christianity is not just about force conversion or anything to do with buying them with bag of grain which most of Indian people assumed. With penetration of Christianity it brings about drastic changes in our way of lifes, but we still uphold the values our custom and tradition.
@taidelek9994
@taidelek9994 6 лет назад
Zupe Lotha my friend. As u said Christianity may not be force conversation or money based conversion in Northeast but the reason may be ' taking advantage of the situation of your people at that time' your believe being too Virgin and pure at it early form and innocent at it nature. Look every culture have its dark side , say it in Hindu or Buddhist or in Christianity ( period of the dark age in Europe). You don't convert people in the name of changing their life or development. Northeast people witness lots of changes in their lifestyle after the arrival of Christianity but it can be done with pure intention of heart without conversion too.Sati was abolished by not converting people but by law. But unfortunately they came, they found a fertile group to convert and converted people in the name of changing their lifestyle. They consider your old tradition uncivilized. Look every culture and tradition are beautiful as it's pure form and we should respect. In nut shell you guys are being exploited for being too Virgin and too remote. I am saying these coz it's a fact and we should know our past history for better tomorrow for society or as a knowledge for self-development.look I love Christianity too not the conversion part but the message of love and helping the poor people. Truth should prevail. No double standard.
