President Yoweri Museveni Monday assented into law the controversial Anti-Homosexuality Bill saying recruiters, mercenaries and exhibitors of homosexuality will not be tolerated and will be harshly punished. The President's move comes amid international pressure not to do so. US President Barack Obama had previously warned that signing the bill into law would have dire consequences on the relationship between the two countries while Canada had threatened to expel Ugandan diplomats.
