It's crazy to me that Doe overthrow a government to save the country only to become a dictator then Charles Taylor overthrow the government to save the country only to become a dictator. Doe is dead and Taylor is in prison ,but somehow Prince Johnson is still out there in Liberia
In 1990 CIA SAD dropped 8 6 packs of Budweiser and a set of Dexter Russel Knives and the rest was history for Doe, his ear is in a classified CIA museum.
@@capoislamort100 , no...i was never a fan of Rondald Reagan. I am a libertarian so i don't like anyone who is against freedom . i was saying that if the shooting (executions) was on the news then Reagan (or any other president) would be concerned about their reputation and would not have done a public meeting with him. Image is everything with any politician. The horrible shooting took place in the 1980 coup which you can see on RU-vid but i wouldn't recommend it to sensitive people. I originally saw the executions from an old documentary called "Faces of death"
Doe never carry rebel war, Doe is a hero, o people just used him around him, do know how librarian was living??? The used to killed the liberians from left and right, it was them, the never help librarians with all that years we fought, America just watch their own brothers and sisters die for nothing, thn came in, the time war is already over .
Wrong title ....should be...President Reagan meeting with dictator Samuel Doe. Min 2,28 we discuss how Usa can assist to steal a lot of tons of diamonds...
Oh my God .I remember Sargent s.k.doe.chairman of Liberia. When I was in sierra leone. During my visit to Liberia. One love I saw him once he was very interlegent and brave enough to lead Liberia..he was killed by Prince Johnson. I remember the in incident. .
He sold his country to the Americans one of the reasons it's in poverty today the Americans took all there recourses leaving the country poor when war broke out instead of helping the Americans sent camera crews instead of soilders to push the rebels back
@@grimreaper7363 How is that true? When he started the campaign to pay America debt back during Bush time. You probably wasn’t born yet. You ppl lie too much. Him paying of America’s debt and refusing monopoly to the oil rigs is what got him killed. Bush sr. Ruined a lot of African countries along with Gaddafi.
I appreciate you President Doe for the models you set and ceilings you break at the level of the presidency.Your efforts will always be rebembered in the history of your beloved country mama Liberia. I love you Samuel Doe and the entire revolutionary team. Rest in power great men.......
it's weird how we as Americans like and support Presidents but not usually in a unhealthy way. But people in other countries under direct tyrant rule praise men who were awful. Like even how obsessed the English people are with the Crown but here in America we wouldn't give our lives for a person of power or extremely mourn if an old President died. It would just happen and we would move on. Other cultures are so different that it is sometimes hard to comprehend the differences.
@@prakashkumarp6264 what r u talking about he killed a lots of innocent people for no reason he killed the president. The good thing is he faced the same fate thank God he died verry horrible way he deserve open ur eyes.
I grew up there. Wasn't President Talbot assassinated when Samuel Doe, who served as a Corporal in the Liberian Army, took office after the overthrow. Do you remember the Small Small Man and the Sticky Devil? And crazy Hans flying around Buchanan. Reminds me of the helicopter pilot Murdoch off the A Team. L.o.l I remember the curfews well and also the Armed Liberian soldiers (tanked up on cane juice), who were looking for house 516 in loop 5 and the young boys who were playing on the old Ford Zephyr. L.o.l They wanted 10,000 Liberian dollars, but they settled for 1000. L.o.l Need to get my white @$$ back to Liberia and find me a beautiful Liberian wife. Should have done it years ago. Wish I never left Africa as a boy. It's one of the most beautiful, nature vibrant, places on Earth. P.s As a young kid, I will never forget the first time I saw Sister Nancy's Paw Paws. L.o.l
@@thebestofthemall55 I used to live in Buchanan, but I was a Mount Nimba boy before that. Sannequell, Camp 4 and the Small small man. That was from Nimba, Yekepa. But I used to eat at Ma Esters. I remember when Beymac (spelled wrong) failed his studies and Ma Ester peppered him in the front garden. I remember it clearly. My house was 314 in Loop 3, opposite Evette and her mother Mrs Lomax, in Buchanan.
Oh, my goodness. Sister Nancy. I was confused myself reading it back, lol, but as you know, Liberia was a very special place back then, full of magic and untouched mystical wonder, and I don't think anyone who lived there back in the day, wouldn't be emotionally moved if they ever saw the place again. Which house did you live in. On the video, your voice sounds familiar, and you talked about the almond tree. Maybe we climbed it together.
Ce sont les conseillers juifs qui arrivaient à obtenir ces rdv pour Samuel Doe. La conséquence, c'est que ça lui donnait la grosse tête. Exactement la même chose pour Eyadéma.
The rift begin here with St Charles when Charles follower Taylor ate a Marie Doe? And destroyed a New England southern cooperative haven called Liberia?? Why the hesistation of helping prince Charles?
People of color descendants of slaves and native Africans are two entirely different races.. Was probably not a great idea for us to colonize there 🤴🏾❤️👶🏽❤️👸🏽
I’m a Liberian and your statement is true . I’ve lived in the United States for many many years . Married to an African American and all I can say is you can not change anyone neither can you encourage anyone to do better . A person must be hungry for better in order to consistently do better in order to become better When I observed our race /our people and over here I just sit quietly in my corner saying to myself you never realize appreciate value nor respect what you have until you loose it It takes God/HolySpirit to TRANSFORM a person HEART in order for this TRANSFORMED individual to see understand and discerned that all men are CREATED EQUAL AMERICO LIBERIANS did to their own race when their past did to them How do they move forward by admitting they all were wrong and owes it to Liberia to unite despite their differences realizing all men are created equal and do better for the lives of the people May AlmightyGod help them . Only the hand of the True and Living God can restore that Nation. The Nation must FIRST have a READY MIND and a WILLING HEART to WANT to CHANGE then change will happen other than that hmmmmmm . May AlmightyGod have mercy on us
Yudah El because its native territory. U slaves dont belong!! This video is when doe took power. He native he killed many slaves. Just keep you're igorant slave ass in America and shut up. Based on you're comment alone i can tell u are some hotep fuckboy. White American send u slaves to Liberia simply because they didn't want you anymore! Fuck off slave!
Yudah El wait a minute, is he German or is he African? He is Liberian and there is nothing wrong on being proud of who you are and using elegant attire from your nation, President Reagan wouldn’t be expected to wear African clothes in Liberia would he?
