Leaving ones country to work abroad is not every1's dream, we are forced due to lack of opportunities home & end up doing demeaning jobs because they dont accomodate our education system, speaking as someone living abroad for many years.

President is talking about labour abroad and getting aproved to work abroad is a problem. Im in UAE working we got a chance to hire one kenyan but having him approved so that he joins me its a big problem.2 months waiting 4 aproval ia a big joke.
@samnjuguna things abroad is not that easy i agree with you. The problems in kenya is corrupt politicians and sysytem,. Its starts way from jomo kenyatta and moi and ruto. Kibaki was the best he brought the economy back to kenya. We need as a nation to send some corrupt leaders back home. One year in goverment and some politicians are building masions,owning or grabing land, chiefs oppressing the widows.

If you never sent the Mps to vote Yes, then whom and who were they representing coz Kenyans were not for the finance bill. If the Mps have no concern with normal mwananchi I wonder who they are representing in parliament.

he is right,its not eazy to get the country out of this debt.former president had warned us abt the country debt ceiling.even if he goes who has that magic bullet to shoot down the debt.did not vote for him bt he has the plan.good life will never come without a sacrifice. we overborrowed as a country we have to be over taxed.kenya is leading Africa in terms of infrastructures, then we have to pay for it. who will if not us.

I always wonder,apart from housing programs and digital jobs,,what else is there for the youths,We won't all be employed in the housing programs. Create an enabling environment, for the youths and investors to create jobs. As a president you won't create jobs for everyone. Just make the system favorable for investment. The rest will be sorted. My thoughts

Ruto seem to imagine that the jobs can only be created in the 'Housing program' whatever this is ..... his mind may be reflects on what is in it for him. Option 2 is digital jobs. Ruto is killing industries through export levies, sending back direct foreign investments etc - he is so micro minded
