And the fact that he was denied his civil liberties at all times during the investigation means nothing to you? There were SO MANY TIMES that the House of Representatives could have gotten the facts straight before even submitting the articles, and they didn't! They didn't allow him to call his own witnesses or even representation in the matter, keeping Republicans out of closed door meetings, never revealing who the whistleblower was which would have allowed the President to face his accuser as required by normal judicial proceedings, broke House Rules in order to fast track the Articles of Impeachment, and the fact that there were members of Congress who basically ran and won on the platform to actually impeach him even TWO YEARS AGO before any of this started! In any other judicial proceeding, this would have been a mistrial! Just because you don't like the President, or his policies, or the way he acts in public, or what he says IS NOT A REASON FOR IMPEACHMENT! Impeachment is about guilt or innocence, not party politics, which is why it takes two-thirds to convict on such charges, not a simple majority. This was party politics to the extreme as seen by the final vote. It was right of the Senate to acquit him. It was wrong for the impeachment articles and investigation to be handled in the way that they were. I'm tired of hearing the same crap from the losers in this country and people in other countries who have no business speaking about the internal politics of a nation that is not their own when they do not understand the VERY basics of what is entitled to a person under the law of that country! It's gossip, slander, and disgusting! You ALL should be ashamed of yourselves for the way you treat other people you don't even personally know! I have to also admit I have to admire the audacity of the BBC of the way they portrayed only the esteemed Senator Romney and not showing the arguments from those defending the President. Mitt Romney to most Republicans is one in name only and he's mad that Trump basically blasted him with the truth.
